Totem Shaman
Totem Shaman is one of the most interesting decks on this list. It costs 2000 dust and can be crafted by most free-to-play players. It can surprise many players with its effectiveness.
What’s fun about this deck:
- It uses one of the weakest minion tribes in the game-totems to win games and OTK opponents
- It can generate a lot of tempo through cards like Splitting Axe and Serpentshrine Portal
- It can build wide board and buff all of its minions for a low mana cost
How to play this deck effectively:
- Mulligan for Blazing Battlemage, Surging Tempest and EVIL Totem
- Try to duplicate Mana Tide Totem, Flametongue Totem and EVIL Totem with Splitting Axe and Serpentshrine Portal because these are your strongest totems
- You can include Bloodlust in the deck to make it easier to OTK opponents when you manage to build a wide board
- If you are going second and have EVIL Totem in hand coin it out as most decks cannot deal with it in the early game and it will generate you a lot of value
- Including Sludge Slurper and Magic Carpet will slightly up the cost of the deck but are worth it if you have 1000 extra dust
