With millions of gamers worldwide, you can only wonder who really are the best players among them. Well, sit back as I satisfy your curiosity. Enumerated below are the 10 best Mobile Legends players in the world right now based on their current performance and statistics.

10. Hatred

Onic PH's Hatred showing his fierceness to the world. He is not just a player, he is THE player.

Last year, Jaylord “Hatred” Gonzales spread his wings even wider when he transferred from Execration to Onic Philippines. His shift to mid-lane role has continuously done wonders as his team experimented with new game techniques during Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championships 202

This 19-year-old pro player was known to be a jungler during his Execration years and a gold laner during MPL Philippines 8. Hatred (formerly “Hate”) is actually famous for being the Top 1 Gusion in the Philippines. But now, he is breaking the stigma of being a one-hero man.

Hatred emerged stronger in his new role, shocking most of his competitors. This helped their team as they were one of the ace groups during M3.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 M3 World Championship - 2nd place ($120,000)
  • MPL Philippines Season 7 - 7th – 8th place ($1,500)
  • MPL Philippines Season 6 - 3rd place ($14,000)

9. 4Meyz

Wan Usman, a.k.a 4Meyz, with his 'game face' on.

Wan Usman has been the core part of Todak, the number 5 best team in the world rankings as of writing. His journey on the pro scene only began in 2020, yet he already tasted a sweet victory.

Also known as 4Meyz, Wan Usman was awarded as the Best Rookie Player during Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) for Malaysia and Singapore Season 6.That time, he and his team brought home the crown without any defeat! This surprised the whole MLBB community because Todak only landed in 6th place during Season 5.

He is well-celebrated for being an effective gold laner of Todak at the age of 20. This Malaysian dreamer has gained many followers because of his Lancelot and Ling gameplays. Despite his lack of professional league experience, 4Meyz paved his own way to prove to the world that he was born to be an ML player.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 M2 World Championships - 5th – 6th place ( $8,400)
  • 2021 MLBB Southeast Asia Cup - 7th – 8th place ( $4,000)

8. Farway

Farway ready to prove his worth during M3 World Championship.

Farway is a Turkish player of the team BEDEL. Only less than a year of experience in the pro-MLBB community did  not stop him from conquering the international stage.

Recently, Batuhan “Farway” Sonmez faced a sudden change of role. Their supposed jungle player for the M3 World Championships tested positive for COVID-19 just before their departure. Scary as it may sound, but the situation had opened doors for Farway to showcase that he could also pull off the jungle role.

Their M3 journey is actually something worth celebrating as they are one of the first teams to secure a spot in the upper bracket. However, that journey was cut short when they were forced to lower bracket after a loss. But, player-statistics-wise, Farway definitely deserves a spot on the best ML players in the world right now.

Farway is notable for being the Top 1 Global Hanzo.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 M3 World Championship - 9th – 12th place ($15,000)
  • Türkiye Şampiyonası 2021 - 1st place ($6,766)
  • Exord MEC June 2021 - 3rd – 4th place

7. Wise

Wise celebrating after a match win during M3 World Championship.

Brace yourselves for our 7th best player as Wise is here to #BreakTheCode. It was not an easy road for Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario when he joined Blacklist International. He had to bear with the heartbreak after being released from his first team, Onic Philippines. Sounds familiar? I think I’ve read that team name somewhere…

Onic PH has been eyeing for the crown after their back-to-back second place finish during season 4 and 5 MPL-PH.. Because of this, the team strategized for different tactics, one of which is to look for new players. Though it was not disclosed if what was really the reason for Wise’s departure from the team, none of that mattered now. Two days after the news of his departure, Wise was immediately recruited by Blacklist International to aim the same goal: championship.

With new faces and environment, Wise brought home the MPL-PH Season 7 championship. Same goal, same dream, but achieved together with different people.

Wise made a stamp on his career with his heroes Aldous, Yi-Shun Shin, and Granger. He continues to mark his jungler role as Blacklist International marches on a much bigger battle arena.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 M3 World Championship - 1st place ($300,000)
  • MPL Philippines Season 8 - 1st place ($45,200)

Kairi wearing his team's shirt, ready to tell the world that age does not matter in the MLBB World.

Kairi Ygnacio "Kairi '' Rayosdelsol is Onic Philippines’ rising star. This 16-year-old Filipino used to be a member of Blacklist International until he joined Onic PH. Philippines’ ML teams  are really in it with their reshuffling and rebranding?

Despite his short list of achievements, Kairi is currently shaking the community with his signature Lancelot. He is even dubbed as “The Future” with his excellent predictions in every game. Fans and experts consistently praised him, especially with his recent games. To them, long gone were the rookie Kairi. He has already come out of the shell and has unleashed the beast.

He holds the jungle role of his team. Netizens were then quick to point out the big role Kairi played in Onic PH’s dominant run in M3.

5. MobaZane

MobaZane facing his teammates to share their victory.

Let’s take a quick trip around the globe as we go from Southeast Asia to the United States. Michael Cosgun is a North American player. He had raised some eyebrows when he shifted from “Zane” to the legendary “MobaZane” of BloodThirstyKings!

Michael was heavily recognized by being an Arena of Valor pro player. He has competed in several tournaments under it since 2018. That’s why it’s no wonder he surprised the world when he decided to retire and take a leap inside the MLBB community.

MobaZane holds the jungler role of BTK team, and his skills made him one of the best marksman players in North America. He is popular for being the unkillable Top 1 Global Granger. He also created a name in the gaming industry by streaming and uploading his best plays on his YouTube channel.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 North America Challenger Cup - 1st place ( $5,000)

4. OhMyV33nus

The Queen, OhMyV33nus, with his legendary hand crown pose.

All hail to the Queen! Blacklist International consistently proved to the world that they are indeed difficult to decode. And this person right here might be the answer to the question, “Why is Blacklist unbreakable?”

Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna is the support and captain of Blacklist International. Many have doubted him because most of his picks are basic heroes. But his ability to sustain a core’s health at the right place made him volatile for the current metagame trend.

The truth is he was also released from Onic PH, together with Wise. But look where he is right now. He is the only reason behind the termHack-a-V33nus.

Most of the time, rivals would limit the jungler’s choices but not when they are against OhMyV33nus. Teams would always attempt to cripple him. If that isn’t best player material, then I don’t know what is.

OhMyV33nus is clapped by many with his heroes Estes, Popol and Kupa, Mathilda, and Rafaela.

Major Tournament Achievements:

  • 2021 M3 World Championship - 1st place ($300,000)
  • MPL Philippines Season 8 - 1st place ($45,200)
  • MPL Philippines Season 7 - 1st place ($31,400)
  • ONE Esports MPL Invitational 2021 - 2nd place (18,000)
  • MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2021 - 2nd place ($30,000)
  • 2020 MPL Philippines Season 6 - 4th place ($12,000)
  • 2020 MPL Philippines Season 5 - 2nd place ($20,000)
  • 2019 M1 World Championship - 9th – 12th place ($4,000)
  • 2020 MPL Philippines Season 4 - 2nd place ($21,000)

3. CikuGais

CikuGais' official headshot for M3 World Championship, featuring his team's iconic logo behind him.

What’s a great team without an explosive jungler? Muhammad "CikuGais" Danial is the Malaysian formula of Todak.

CikuGais has been with the team since 2019, not a question there on how they were able to pull off a wonderful career run both locally and internationally. He made a mark when he immediately experienced a podium finish during the M1 World Championship, given that it was only his second pro-MLBB tournament.

2021 was the most active year of his career because he participated in various leagues. True enough, CikuGais was able to show off his dominance in the arena, especially with the recent M3 World Championship. Surely, his recent performances landed him a spot on the overall statistics of best players in the world.

CikuGais was the mastermind of the new meta during MPL Malaysia season 8 when he showcased that jungler heroes can also be used as ultra-tanks.

He is popular for his top global hero, Wanwan.
