It is time to cover the last creature type for this current set. Behold, the children of the night, the devil's spawn allowed to walk the earth. The blood sucking fanged undead terrors of the multiverse. I’m of course talking about the beast bram stoker made famous, the vampire. Vampires come in all sorts of colors, but all of them use magic for power and profit. Let us take a look at some of the best vampire decks in the arena.

 

5.WB Vampires

The legion has landed

White for life gain and black for removal. If vampires do not represent the removal of life please prove me wrong. Because this deck will allow you to call upon a carnivorous crowd. The vampires help their own kind deal as much damage as they can. One or two will certainly help you gain life but if you get an army you'll be immortal.

  • Other creatures profit off of the life gain

How this deck is played

  • Deploy lands and get your colors
  • Start casting creature spells to let the vampires swarm

Without white death becomes the main focus of this deck. Using the creatures to enhance the creatures is what this deck is notorious for. Even without the use of white mana we still gain life. Use life as you need it or just stockpile it to outlast your opponent.

That’s right folks, a three color vampire deck. By this point, we know what white and black can do for the dracula fan in all of us. Adding a splash of red just enhances the bloodlust for us. With red we get to use a vampire rouge that gives all our other vampires deathtouch. This deck is a nice change of pace from the bulk of normal vampire decks.

This deck earns the top slot for its explosive use of everyone's favorite zombie, Gary. Load up your field with as much as you can. This allows your devotion to black to become your win-con! Play that merchant with high devotion and you have the game in the bag. This is the only deck that has the potential to kill with a single card. Not to mention, you have the vampires you cast to protect you til you can play that explosive card. Vampires will never exile a zombie that can be of use to them.
