Bandit is best known for his special gadget, the Shock Wire, which is one of the best area denial gadgets in the game. When the Bandit player knows what he’s doing with his four Shock Wires, he’ll be able to prevent a hard breach with “Bandit Tricking” even when Thatcher is present on the opposing team. But Bandit is so much more than a hard breach denial operator.
He also possesses a wide array of weapons and gadgets to choose from when it comes to engaging the enemies in a gun fight or taking them out with a utility. Bandit is easily one of the most versatile original operators in the game, and can surprise his enemies with his firepower.
5. M870 with Reflex B + P12 with Suppressor + Barbed Wire
The M870 remains to be one of the most popular shotguns in the game and that’s because of its heavy damage per pellet, range, and the fact that it can be reloaded quite fast. Of course, it will be much more effective when it comes to hip firing if it has a laser attached to it, but with Bandit, I wouldn’t recommend using a laser. That’s because with this loadout setup, the player will have the M870 shotgun at the ready most of the time, and the player wouldn’t want to compromise his location because of it. With that said, its range and pellet spread really becomes tighter if you aim-down-sights with it, making it much more effective in taking down enemies.
And speaking of aiming-down-sights, the reflex B 1.0x sight is the best sight attachment for the M870 shotgun, or shotguns in general. That’s because its small frame frees up a lot of screen space, and the view it offers is just perfect for shotguns which you don’t really have to aim with pinpoint accuracy in order to hit enemies. As for the secondary weapon, the suppressed P12 will allow Bandit to roam or flank effectively because with it, he’ll be able to shoot enemy gadgets like drones or claymores silently and therefore, with less risk of alerting enemies to his presence.
Excels in:
- Having close range superiority due to the M870’s heavy damage per pellet and pellet spread
- Having a clear front view when aiming-down-sights with the M870 shotgun because of the reflex B 1.0x sight’s small frame
- Being able to shoot enemy drones or claymores silently when you’re roaming or flanking with the use of the suppressed P12 handgun
- Having early warning devices with the use of the barbed wires which are excellent for guarding flanking spots and slowing down enemies
- Reworking the map by creating rotation holes or more lines of sight through the use of the M870 shotgun’s high destruction profile per shot
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - M870 with Reflex B
- Secondary weapon - P12 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Barbed Wire

4. MP7 with Red Dot A and Compensator + P12 with Suppressor + Nitro Cell
The MP7 submachine gun is Bandit’s only fully automatic weapon, and understandably, most players opt for it when playing him because it’s just much easier to use compared to a shotgun. When players think of Bandit’s MP7, most of them don’t really think of a weapon that inflicts heavy damage. But in truth, the MP7 is one of the most underrated weapons in the game. Its base damage isn’t that high, but at 32, it’s really decent. But what really makes the MP7 a powerful weapon is its very fast rate of fire, which, at 900 RPM, can really make quick work of enemies.
The problem is, after the fourth shot, its recoil diamond becomes bigger, and that’s why the compensator is a very viable barrel attachment for it. The compensator reduces the size of a weapon’s recoil diamond, and that results in lesser horizontal recoil and less chances of random recoil from all directions. That is why guns equipped with a compensator generally will have smoother longer sprays. As for the generic gadget in this loadout, the nitro cell is the most popular one for Bandit, especially because with it, he can take out enemies that are performing a vertical play while he’s preventing other attackers from hard breaching.
Excels in:
- Making quick work of enemies due to the MP7’s fast rate of fire and decent damage
- Reducing the horizontal recoil of the MP7 and its chances of random recoil from all directions with the use of the compensator barrel attachment
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets like drones or claymores with less chance of alerting enemies with the use of the suppressed P12 handgun
- Taking out enemies, especially shielded ones or the ones performing a vertical play, with the use of the nitro cell.
- Being able to target enemies with pinpoint accuracy due to the simple center dot reticle on the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MP7 with Red Dot A and Compensator
- Secondary weapon - P12 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

3. MP7 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider + P12 with Suppressor + Nitro Cell
When it comes to recoil control, this is the best loadout setup for the MP7. That’s because the MP7’s recoil pattern mostly only goes on a straight vertical path, and the flash hider specializes in lowering the weapon’s vertical weapon kick. So, with this loadout setup, the user will have an easy time holding the MP7’s recoil and could empty a whole clip from it without losing much control. The great thing is that the flash hider doesn’t only lower the vertical recoil of weapons, it also lessens the visual cues that enemies could react to by hiding the weapon’s muzzle flash.
Another great thing about hiding your weapon’s muzzle flash is that it also has a direct benefit to your end, because without your weapon’s muzzle flash, there won’t be a chance that it would blur your view of your target, therefore, the flash hider benefits your aim as well. And of course, since your primary weapon in this loadout setup won’t have silenced gunshots, it's important for you to run with the suppressed P12. That way, when you’re roaming or flanking, you’ll be able to shoot attacker drones or claymores with much less chance of alerting the enemies.
Excels in:
- Having the best recoil control possible on the MP7 submachine gun due to the flash hider lowering its vertical recoil
- Lessening the visual cues that enemies could use to determine Bandit’s location by hiding his MP7’s muzzle flash with the flash hider
- Being able to shoot attacker drones or claymores when you’re roaming with much less chance of alerting the enemies through the use of the suppressed P12
- Countering smoke plant attempts or vertical plays with the explosion power of the nitro cell
- Having pinpoint accuracy on your MP7 due to the simple center dot reticle from the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MP7 with Red Dot A and Flash Hider
- Secondary weapon - P12 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell

2. MP7 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel + P12 with Suppressor + Nitro Cell
This loadout setup is the best for players who prefer to always have the best damage possible on their weapons. That’s because the extended barrel will greatly lower the MP7’s range damage drop-off, therefore, it will maximize its damage output and potential, and Bandit will be able to inflict heavy damage on enemies with his MP7, regardless of range. That’s on top of the recent announcement that starting next season, the extended barrel will also start adding 15% damage on weapons, along with its previous benefit of reducing the weapon’s range damage drop-off.
So, extended barrel fans have a lot to look forward to in Siege. The only drawback to using the extended barrel is that it doesn’t add any recoil benefits to the weapon and its long barrel can be seen first by enemies when you’re peeking around corners. But for guns like the MP7 which doesn’t have a strong recoil in the first place, the extended barrel is more than a viable option. As for its other drawback, the user can simply mitigate it by peeking around corners quickly. With that said, if what you’re looking for is to be able to take down your enemies as quickly as possible, this loadout is for you.
Excels in:
- Maximizing the damage output and potential of the MP7 submachine gun by reducing its range damage drop-off through the use of the extended barrel
- Starting next season, the extended barrel will also add 15% damage on weapons, so Bandit’s MP7 will be dealing even more damage.
- Having pinpoint accuracy on the MP7 because of the simple center dot reticle from the Red Dot A 1.0x sight
- Being able to shoot enemy gadgets such as drones or claymores with less risk of alerting enemies through the use of the suppressed P12
- Countering smoke + plant attempts, shielded operators, and vertical plays with the explosion power of the nitro cell
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MP7 with Red Dot A and Extended Barrel
- Secondary weapon - P12 with Suppressor
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
Recoil pattern test on the MP7 in this setup with the author’s own recoil control applied:
1. MP7 with Red Dot A and Suppressor + P12 with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Nitro Cell
While the extended barrel is definitely a hot commodity right now because of the recent announcement that starting next season it will add 15% damage on weapons, for a tactical game like Siege where stealth plays a really big role, the suppressor remains as the best barrel attachment. That’s because it doesn’t reduce the weapon’s damage anymore, and it will add a lot of great stealth benefits. Perhaps the most important among those stealth benefits is the removal of the directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from.
With the suppressor, when you shoot at enemies, they won’t be receiving a directional threat indicator, and that’s extremely effective at medium to long-range. That’s because at those distances, it’ll be much harder for enemies to pinpoint your location since they won’t receive a directional threat indicator from your shots and they won’t be able to hear your gunshots. The suppressor will also hide the MP7’s muzzle flash, so unless they notice your movement from afar, it could take a while for them to learn where you’re shooting them from.
Excels in:
- Shooting enemies without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from due to the suppressor
- Silencing the MP7’s gunshots, making it much harder for enemies to pinpoint your location through them
- Reducing the visual cues that enemies could react to when it comes to determining your location by hiding the MP7’s muzzle flash
- Having great recoil control on the P12 and a tight hip fire due to the muzzle brake attachment
- Being able to effectively counter smoke + plant attempts, vertical plays, and shielded operators with the use of the nitro cell
Build Details:
- Primary weapon - MP7 with Red Dot A and Suppressor
- Secondary weapon - P12 with Muzzle Brake and Laser
- Generic gadget - Nitro Cell
