The M4 is an iconic weapon when it comes to modern Call of Duty games. It is always an all around good weapon that finds its way into the game without being overpowered. It is an assault rifle with good range and a fast fire rate which will empty mags quickly but take enemies out quickly.

The best M4 loadouts will typically play towards long ranges to use as your primary weapon across the large map Urzikstan. Although there is one build that will surprise you, the most common stats to look out for are going to be damage range and bullet velocity with handling coming after like ADS speed and sprint to fire speed.

3. Balanced Build

This loadout is a more balanced approach with the M4 that will keep recoil manageable with a great ADS and sprint out speed. We changed a few attachments around for ones that give slightly different pros with less damaging cons to our mobility to make this happen.

This weapon is great to run around and gun with in the medium ranges but can struggle in the really far ones compared to the ranged build. However it is definitely more usable in the situations where you get caught out of position. You could swap the Magazine for an Optic to remove that visual recoil and you could swap the Rear Grip to the Sakin if you want more recoil without hurting the mobility too much.

What The Balanced Build Excels in:

• Great for running and gunning because it is well rounded
• Good for Medium ranges because of lower recoil and good handling
• Great for any map size but is best on medium sized maps
• Ability to take out multiple enemies without reloading from 15 round mag
• Good build for controller players because of visual recoil

2. SMG Build

This is the SMG M4 build and while it is not quite as SMG like as you could make it in Modern Warfare 2019 I’m sure you’ll find success with this build. We have equipped this M4 with a shorter barrel and the buffer tube for the most mobility we could get then rounded off the build with the other attachments.

This weapon plays just like an SMG but hits a little harder and shoots a little slower. It is a fun weapon to run around with and if you’re able to manage the recoil it has excellent range since it’s still an assault rifle. The 60 round magazine is also an essential attachment to make sure that you can take out multiple enemies and finish them off.

What The SMG Build Excels In:

• Close quarters engagements with the faster mobility
• Taking multiple enemies out with the increased mag size
• Fast sprint out time for swinging close corners
• Quick rotations and ability to more jump spots
• Great secondary in Warzone game modes

1. Ranged Build 

This is the ranged M4 build for Call of Dutys Warzone. This weapon has little visual and actual recoil making it easy to hit targets consistently. The Corio Eagleseye 2.5x sight does wonders with the visual recoil and is a must have if you intend to use this weapon for longer ranges.

This build is the best for a primary slot M4 that you can use to take out enemies from long range. You will need to control recoil and hit a few more bullets compared to some of the more meta weapons, but with 60 rounds you should be good to take out a couple enemies.

• Corio Eagleseye sight removes all visual recoil making long range shots much easier
