10. Vulgar Militia Saw

Looks like something straight out of Yharnam.

The Vulgar Militia Saw is an amazing weapon, with the requirements of 15 strength and 13 dex you can wield this weapon quite early on. With high damage, good range and blood loss this amazing weapon can be used all the way to late game. 

Why the Vulgar Militia Saw is great;

  • Has blood loss buildup.
  • Good damage.
  • Can be farmed early on and farming those enemies can give a few levels early on.

How to get the Vulgar Militia Saw:

  • Dropped by enemies wielding it near Bestial Sanctum.
  • 2-4% drop rate at 100 discovery.

9. Banished Knight Halberd

A halberd given to knights who had to abandon their homes.

The Banished Knight Halberd, a weapon you can get very early on with it only requiring 14 strength and 12 dex. With D scaling in both. The weapon has a good weapon art and can be a massive asset in your inventory. As it has great range, with good damage you can poke enemies from a distance.

  • Can be buffed with magic and consumables.

  • Edgar can drop the Halberd +8  upon his defeat at Castle Morne,
  • Alternatively farming the Banished Knights has a 4% drop at 100 discovery.

8. Pest Glaive

A Glaive made from a hard, sharpened shell. 

The Pest Glaive needs 13 strength and 13 dex to use, with low stat requirements, a good weapon art, good damage and can be infused with ashes of war, this weapon is a great choice for players who wish to use a good halberd.

  • Increases elemental damage negation 2%+
  • Can be infused with Ashes of War.

How to get the Pest Glaive:

  • Dropped from Lesser Kindred of Rot also known as Pests.
  • Two can be farmed at the Church of the Plague.
  • Eleven can be farmed at Grand Cloister.

The Nightriders Glaive is an amazing halberd, with the requirements of 26 strength and 10 dex. This mainly strength weapon has a great weapon art, spinning slash, can be followed up by an attack.

  • Can be infused with Ashes of War.
  • Great damage and good range.
  • Great horseback weapon.

  • Beat the Night’s Cavalry.
  • He is wandering between East Raya Lucaria gate and Bellum Church.

  • From the starting area, where Varre is in Limgrave.
  • See the boss before the church where Kale is.

Commander O’Neil is one tough boss.

The Commander’s Standard is an amazing halberd, with it requiring 24 strength and 14 dex to use. The ash of war on this weapon is really useful, the weapon itself is good, with good damage and good range this a great weapon to use and one of the best halberds.

Why the Commander’s Standard is great:

  • Amazing ash of war that adds +20% damage and  adds all damage negation by +20%.
  • Fast guard counter with great damage.
  • B strength scaling at plus 8.

How to get the Commander’s Standard:

  • Go to Caelid.
  • To the Aeonia Swamp. 
  • Defeat Commander O’Neil close by.
  • Dropped upon his death.
