Holy Moly!
Ah, the Holy element. Not to be outdone by the four other colors, Yellow has its own set of awesome heroes, each armed with Special Skills that would really make a difference to your roster especially if you decide to pit them against Dark Heroes - which they’re both strong and weak against. If you’re luck enough to pull a lot of them across different summoning portals, which of them are worth investing in, you ask? Well, here are our picks for the Top 10 Empires and Puzzles Best Holy Heroes that may just help you out!
10. Drake Fong
Fong of Fury!
Starting our list is a Legend from 2018 - and rightfully so.
Drake Fong’s Flails of Fury, at Fast Mana Speed, hits hard as it deals 270% damage to the target and nearby enemies. But, as with some other Holy Heroes’ Special Skills, it has a secondary effect in which hit enemies have to suffer -35% accuracy for 3 turns, too. This means, unless cleansed, they may miss their targets when attacking, even when using their Special Skills! This makes him a fantastic hero to include in your defense team, should you be lucky enough to pull him!
What Makes Drake Fong Great:
- Has Fast Mana Speed
- Deals 270% damage to the target and nearby enemies
- Hit enemies get -35% accuracy for 3 turns
9. White Rabbit
Hare-raising times!
If less accuracy isn’t your thing, how about giving your target a negative defense, instead?
Fortunately, this is where our Seasonal Hero comes in. His Rabbit’s Watch deals 280% damage to the target and nearby enemies, with the secondary effect of giving the target -34% defense for 4 turns, too. If the enemy’s instinct is to heal their afflicted member, well, tough luck - the effect duration just gets reset when they do, which also can’t be dispelled! At Fast Mana Speed, it may be no time at all before all of White Rabbit’s enemies suffer this malady - paving the way to their inevitable defeat!
What Makes White Rabbit Great:
- Deals 280% damage to the target and nearby enemies
- Target gets -34% defense for 4 turns, which gets reset if they’re healed
- Has Fast Mana Speed
8. Malosi
Watch out for that fist!
Say you face a team with buffers and debuffers. What will you do? Send in Malosi to the battle, of course!
This man is the definition of ‘Prevention is Better than Cure’. His Power Punch deals 300% damage to the target, but what makes him unique is its secondary effect of disallowing them from casting any new status effects or stacks on enemies or allies for 3 turns. And considering a ton of heroes fall into the ‘buffer’ or ‘debuffer’ category, this makes Malosi appropriate for facing any of them! Also, did we mention his Very Fast Mana Speed?
What Makes Malosi Great:
- Deals 300% damage to the target
- Target cannot cast new status effects or stacks on either enemies or allies for 3 turns
- Has Very Fast Mana Speed
7. Director Zuri
At your (paid) service!
No list is complete without our trusty healers - and Director Zuri’s more than able to stand toe to toe with the best of them!
Her Director’s Blessing makes her a healer/minion summoner/cleanser hybrid in that it gives her allies 42% health, while the one currently with the lowest HP is given 65% health to bring them up to par with the others. Not only that, but they all get a Clown Minion to boot, each with 15% HP and 22% attack inherited from Director Zuri. Lastly, they are cleansed of their status ailments - which is always awesome for a healer to do. Truly a well-rounded hero she is!
What Makes Director Zuri Great:
- Heals all allies with at least 40% health, while the ally with the current lowest HP gets at least 60% health
- Summons a Clown Minion for each ally
- Cleanses status ailments from all allies
6. Peñolite
He’s made of stone, but is his heart?
With so many minion and fiend summoners out in the open, who are you gonna call? This stone guy!
His Radiant Rapid-Fire makes it seem like he has a vendetta with summoners, considering his damage doubles just for them. It deals 245% damage to the target - which becomes 490% against the likes of Bera, Freya, and Elizabeth to name a few! What’s more, his attack makes everyone suffer the -50% decrease for any healing received for 4 turns, which may just spell doom to his enemies - just as Peñolite intended!
What Makes Peñolite Great:
- Ideal to use against minion and fiend summoners
- Deals 245% damage to the target, which doubles to 490% if they’re a fiend or minion summoner
- All enemies get -50% decrease for any healing received for 4 turns
5. Zekena
More limbs to tear you apart with, dear!
Who has a ton of limbs and a thirst for blood? This guy. Animal. Thing?
Zekena’s Swift Stingers may seem like it targets just one enemy - except a randomly selected one may also just end up dead under his watch. It deals 300% damage to the first target, while a totally different enemy gets hit with a devastating 450% damage - which will hurt more if they’re a Dark hero. The extra hit gives that random enemy -56% defense for 3 turns, too! At Fast Mana Speed, our guy is armed not just with excess limbs - but also vengeance!
What Makes Zekena Great:
- Deals 300% damage to the target
- Deals extra 450% damage to another enemy and gives them -56% defense for 3 turns

Don’t let her sweetness fool you!
One of the original dodgers in the game, Inari is definitely an awesome hero to have on your roster.
Her Special Skill Lucky Nine deals 180% damage to all enemies - but more importantly, it also gives all allies a +56% chance to dodge Special Skills for 3 turns and summons a Sakura fox minion if they do successfully dodge them. These minions are amazing in that they also add 7% mana to their owners at the end of each turn - making their Special Skill go off faster the more they dodge enemy skills! Regardless of what skills the enemies have, their effects are considered moot if they’re dodged - making this buff extremely useful, and extremely welcomed!
What Makes Inari Great:
- Deals 180% damage to all enemies
- Gives all allies +56% chance to dodge Special Skills for 3 turns, with each dodge summoning a Sakura Fox Minion
- Sakura Fox Minion adds 7% mana to its owner at the end of each turn
3. Guinevere
As the Lady wishes!
Guinevere is definitely who Li Xiu wants to be if ever she evolves to a 5* hero.
She has the makings of a great tank considering everything she does. She’s your annoying mana controller in that if her Word of the Queen gets activated, all enemies’ mana gets reduced by 20%. Not only that, but she fortifies the frontlines by making herself and nearby allies both regenerate 612 HP over 4 turns and have +54% defense against Dark for 4 turns, too! Definitely, one of the tougher Holy Heroes to contend with if you’re running a Dark Team yourself!
What Makes Guinevere Great:
- Great to use as a tank
- Reduces all mana of enemies by 20%
- Makes herself and nearby enemies regenerate 612 HP and have +54% defense against Dark over 4 turns
2. Odin
Odin, not Odon’t!
At first glance, the 100% damage to all enemies might not seem a lot - except, as he has Fast Mana Speed, Odin will be quickly firing his Fury of Grimnir in no time at all. What makes this Special Skill unique, however, is that the 100% damage is the minimum amount of damage he can dole out to all enemies. Depending on how many Holy shields are on the board, the damage can increase up to 244%!
And that’s not all. Once this Special Skill is used, all his allies get +8% mana at the minimum. Depending on how many Holy shields are on the board, this can be as high as 28% - meaning he can - and will! - make everyone ready to unleash their special attacks faster than possible. Good God!
What Makes Odin Great:
- Has Fast Mana Speed
- Deals damage to all enemies depending on the number of Holy shields on the board
- Makes all allies generate mana depending on how many Holy shields are on the board
1. Wolfgang
At your command!
With the other elements having their Black Knights, Tellurias, and Krampuses, it’s only fitting that Holy has its own formidable Tank - and Wolfgang fits that role perfectly.
His Commander’s Gauntlet is not just for defensive purposes, oh no! It also deals 250% damage to all enemies, which is like him making them pay for daring to attack his team in the first place. Next, he reduces all damage received by -50% for 4 turns, before finally boosting the health of all allies by 600 after 4 turns too. This makes Wolfgang a Prime Candidate for inclusion in your defense team if you’re blessed enough to have pulled him in the first place!

- Fantastic to use as a tank
- Deals 250% damage to all enemies
- Reduces all damage received by 50% for 4 turns and boosts the health of all allies by 600 after 4 turns
