Wartime is upon us!

During war equalizer, timing the use of skills is everything considering the automatic wipe-out of all types of status effects on heroes currently at play - be they attackers or defenders on the field. Given this mechanic, some players may even be brave enough to go without dispellers or cleansers in their team - but is that really how to play things to win? Here’s another set of Empires and Puzzles Best Heroes for War Equalizer to get your minds rolling on how to turn the tide in your favor!

10. Rigard

A dapper gentleman in a suit of armor!

While his costume’s a fantastic variation of him, Rigard’s OG version is no slouch either!

He’s a cleanser type of healer in that his Purification removes all status ailments from his allies. However, during War Equalizer, players may consider using this version instead of his coveted costume, as his 42% health recovery for all is instantaneous instead of staggered! Perfect to keep everyone always in tip-top shape to continue the fight!

What Makes Rigard Great:

  • Cleanses all status ailments from allies
  • Heals all allies for 42% of health
  • Healing is instantaneous as opposed to the staggered version offered by his costume

9. Buddy

Naughty, naughty!

A seasonal 4* hero, you’ll find Buddy definitely has tons of use even outside Christmastime!

Buddy’s Gift Sack is a mixed bag of presents, all to make your enemies suffer like the naughty children that they are. It deals 205% damage to the target and nearby enemies as well as gives them both -24% attack and -34% defense, all for 3 turns. Time your attack correctly and the enemies will surely feel the effects of these debuffs before the next wipe occurs! But, you know what War Equalizer doesn’t take away? Minions! Which Buddy gives himself and nearby allies as well. Now how’s that for spreading holiday cheer?

What Makes Buddy Great:

  • Deals 205% damage to the target and nearby enemies
  • Gives target and nearby enemies -24% attack and -34% defense for 3 turns
  • Summons Elf Minions for himself and nearby allies, which War Equalizer doesn’t remove

8. Kingston

You bet that dagger’s gonna hurt!

In wars, damage is King - which is why deploying Kingston is a must, if you have him!

His Stiletto Cyclone, at Fast Mana Speed, deals a 445% damage to the target which already hurts. But he further punishes his target and their nearby enemies by lessening their attack power by -31%, with a further -4% decrease every time they are hit! This usually lasts for 4 turns, but with War Equalizer in effect, this will be decreased to 3 at most - provided unleashing his attack is timed right!

What Makes Kingston Great:

  • Has Fast Mana Speed
  • Deals 445% damage to a single target
  • Gives target and their nearby enemies at least -34% attack

7. Lianna Costume

In the name of this bow!

If it’s damage you want, it’s damage you’ll have - with the added decrease in mana generation, too. That’s the power of Lianna’s Costume for you!

Her Pure Shot is perfect for War Equalizer. It deals 482% damage to the target, and more devastatingly gives them -34% mana generation for 3 turns. Pick a target from your enemies and Lianna may not even allow them to reach full mana capacity ever - which is a tad easier for her to do considering she operates at Fast Mana Speed!

What Makes Lianna Costume Great:

  • Deals 482% damage to the target
  • Gives them -34% mana generation for 3 turns
  • Has Fast Mana Speed

6. Kageburado

A Sinister Grin!

Battles must feel like a cakewalk for scary warriors like Kageburado - and it’s in players’ best interest to make use of him.

His Break Strike first dispels buffs from the target, making sure there’s nothing protecting them from the 225% damage he then delivers them - which doubles to 450% if they have more than 50% health remaining. Oof! This makes him fantastic to unleash against heroes at top health, as he can dwindle them in no time. And considering his Very Fast Mana Speed? Time is very much not an issue with Kageburado, with or without War Equalizer in effect!

What Makes Kageburado Great:

  • Dispels buffs from the target
  • Deals 225 - 450% damage to a target depending on their health
  • Has Very Fast Mana Speed

5. Magni Costume

IceMan?

Snipers that give debuffs are fantastic to use as attackers anytime, anywhere, and Magni Costume is a fine example why.

His Strike of the Monolith deals 420% damage to the target, and to help his allies get rid of them quicker, Magni gives his target and their nearby enemies -34% defense, too. With War Equalizer in play, however, the duration is shortened from 4 turns to 3 - but it’s still plenty of time for Magni’s team to off one or even more enemies considering his Fast Mana Speed!

What Makes Magni Costume Great:

  • Deals 420% damage to the target
  • Gives target and nearby enemies -34% defense
  • Has Fast Mana Speed

4. Devana

That's a big cat tho

Heroes that do a lot of things at the same time are more than welcome in any roster, and Devana is sure to make any player’s list even sweeter.

Her Arrows and Claws deal 255% damage to the target and nearby enemies and dispel their buffs. However, being that War Equalizer means Minions are even more useful, her being able to summon beefy ones makes Devana a great hero to use! Her Special Skill allows her to have a Lynx Minion that has 35% HP and 35% attack inherited from her and kills a target’s minions, too! If killing it becomes kind of a chore, what more if she always has three on her person?

What Makes Devana Great:

  • Deals 255% damage to the target and nearby enemies
  • Dispels their buffs
  • Summons a Lynx Minion that kills a target’s minions before hitting them

3. Seshat

Aiming straight for your heart

Time doesn’t diminish Seshat’s usefulness, which is a surefire testament to her abilities!

Her Conjuration Arrow, at Fast Mana Speed, deals 400% damage to the target and dispels their buffs, as well as that of nearby enemies. But as far as Minion Summoners go, Seshat is a special one - as even if her Special Skill isn’t activated, the minion can still generate a clone of itself every 3 turns! Definitely, a cool ability for a tiny minion to have!

What Makes Seshat Great:

  • Has Fast Mana Speed
  • Deals 400% damage to the target and dispels their and nearby enemies’ buffs
  • Summons a Minion that generates a clone of itself every 3 turns

2. Gefjon

She Whips It Good!

In a land of Minion Summoners, Gefjon really asks: why bother summoning minions when she can just steal them?

Her Maiden’s Command does just that: she steals minions from the target. In War Equalizer where players will most likely take advantage of summoning minions, Gefjon will just go charging in stealing left and right - as well as dealing 500% damage to each of her targets. At Fast Mana Speed, too!

What Makes Gefjon Great:

  • Steals Minions from the target
  • Deals 500% damage to the target
  • Has Fast Mana Speed

1. Director Zuri

Performance Level, Everyone!

Look, we love our healers, cleansers, and minion summoners - and Director Zuri just happens to be all three!

Her Director’s Blessing gives her allies 42% health, while the one currently with the lowest HP is given 65% health to bring them up to par with the others. They are then cleansed of their status ailments as well as given a sturdy Clown Minion - each with 15% HP and 22% attack inherited from Director Zuri! We don’t know about you, but those abilities make her an undispellable member of our circus - War Equalizer or no War Equalizer!

What Makes Director Zuri Great:

  • Heals all allies with at least 40% health, while the ally with the current lowest HP gets at least 60% health
  • Summons a Clown Minion for each ally
  • Cleanses status ailments from all allies

And that is our list for the Empires and Puzzles Best Heroes for War Equalizer. Good luck on your next battle, and may they help you win that coveted War Chest sooner than later!
