Tera Raid enthusiasts, try to do it solo!

Solo Tera Raids are offline Tera Raids that you do by yourself with the help of 3 other NPC’s.

You should do them because you get a diversity of rewards after.

Also Solo Tera Raids don’t punish you from running away from it if you aren’t doing so well.

It also depends on the level Tera Raid and the difficulty it challenges.

You’ve got to feel confident first.

The strategy of Solo Tera Raids is to 1 shot knock out the Tera Target with minimal moves.

Example strategy: Use Swords Dance 3 times. Then, follow up with Hyper Beam.

It also depends on your Pokémon’s type and you want super effective types.

Consider their IV’s. You can read another article that explains that in full detail.

Here are all the levels of Tera Raids and essential details that you should know about.

For Level 1 Star Tera Raids

Azumarill stats:

  • 100 HP
  • 50 Attack
  • 80 Defense
  • 60 Special Attack
  • 80 Special Defense
  • 50 Speed

Skip that step and either catch a Marill or Azumarill.

Marill evolves into Azumarill at Level 18.

Where to find Azumarill:

You can find Azumarill early in the game around West Providence Area 3.

Analysis:

Azumarill can be caught early game when trying to discover what Tera Raiding is, and a normal Pokéball is sufficient to catch it without prior Gym experience. Azumarill should be used against Ground, Rock, and Fire Tera Raids because it knows powerful Water and Fairy-Type attacks.

For other Tera Raids, it’s immune to Dragon-Types. It can learn the Belly Drum move, essential to knocking out Tera Raids.

Try to find level 1 Ground, Rock, and Fire-Type Tera Raids. Azumarill is a great Pokémon against those raids and farming them will become important to tackle a variety of Tera Raid types such as:

  • Electric
  • Fire
  • Poison
  • Rock
  • Steel
  • Bug
  • Flying
  • Ice
  • Grass

Why Azumarill is Great for Solo Raid:

  • Azumarill has useful Abilities, as Huge Power is its best for Solo Raids. Huge Power doubles the Pokémon's Attack stat. Azumarill’s total Attack stat becomes 100.
  • It’s immune to Dragon-Types and during Dragon Type Solo Raids, Dragon-Type moves won’t affect Azumarill, which is why Azumarill should have a Fairy Tera Type.
  • Fire-Types hardly damage Azumarill while some Ground and Rock Types may inflict x1 damage toward Azumarill.
  • Azumarill can learn a variety of useful Fairy and Normal moves such as Play Rough and Egg Move Belly Drum. It can be aggressive in Tera Raids and may protect itself with Defense Curl if necessary. Overpowered moves it knows are Liquidation, Hydro Pump, Superpower, and Double Edge.
  • The Solo-Strategy with Azumarill is for it to hold a Shell Bell. Use the move Belly Drum. Use physical Attacks such as Play Rough and Liquidation. Use Charm to lower the target’s Attack. Terastalizie and either use those 2 moves to end the Tera Raid.
  • Play Rough deals damage and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Attack by one stage.
  • Liquidation deals 80 damage and may lower the target’s Defense.
  • Charm lowers the target's Attack by two stages.
  • Belly Drum makes Azumarill lose 50% of its max HP, but Attack raises to maximum. This will make Play Rough and Liquidation more powerful.

Where to find Fuecoco:

Get a Fuecoco in the beginning of the game. It’s the most popular starter in Scarlet and Violet.

You can always try trading online.

Analysis:

Fuecoco is a highly recommended starter when completing Scarlet and Violet’s story. Fire-Types are great to have early game because many of the Gym Pokémon are weak to Fire-Types. As a Croacler, it can one shot many Level 2 Star Tera Raids and as a Skeledirge can one shot many Level 3 Star Tera Raids.

Croacler should be used against Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel Pokémon because it knows many powerful Fire-Type moves. As a Skeledirge, it should be used against Ghost and Psychic Types, and is immune to Normal and Fighting-Types. It can learn the move Torch Song, essential to one shot knockout Tera Raids.

Try to find level 2 and 3 Star Bug, Steel, Ghost, and Psychic Tera Raids. Skeledirge is an amazing Pokémon against those raids and farming them will become important to tackle a variety of Tera Raid types such as:

  • Grass
  • Dark
  • Psychic
  • Fairy
  • Ice
  • Rock
  • Ghost
  • Psychic
  • Fighting
  • Poison

Why Skeledirge is Great for Solo Raid:

  • Skeledirge has great base HP (105) when graduating from 2 star Tera Raids to 3 Star Tera Raids. You can always increase HP through EV training.
  • Skeledirge has useful Abilities, as Blaze is its best for Solo Raids. Blaze increases the power of Fire-Type moves by 50% when the ability-bearer's HP is “in a pinch.”
  • It’s immune to Normal and Fighting-Types. Normal and Fighting-Types can’t affect Ghost-Types, which is why Skeledirge should stay as a Ghost Tera Type with powerful Fire-Type moves.
  • Skeledirge is resistant to many types such as Bug, Ice, Grass, Fairy, Steel, Fire, and Poison.
  • Skeledirge can learn a variety of Fire, Ghost, Normal, and Dark moves such as Torch Song and Curse. It can put the tera target asleep with Sing and inflict a burn onto them. Overpowered moves it knows are Fireblast, Overheat, Shadow Ball, Flare Blitz, and Hyper Beam.

  • 1 order of Salt
  • 1 order of Avocado
  • 1 order of Smoked filet

When the game prompts you to attempt the Elite 4, you can catch a flying Garchomp nearby the Pokémon League Poké Center.

Analysis:

Gible can be caught super-early in the game in the West Providence Area 1 Tunnel. A normal Pokéball is sufficient to catch it without prior Gym experience. When you level it up to a Gabite you can defeat most 3 Star Tera Raids. As a Garchomp, it is superior to 4 Star Tera Raids. Garchomp should be used against Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, and Steel Tera Raids because it knows powerful Ground-Type attacks.

For other Tera Raids, it’s immune to Electric-types. It can learn Swords Dance, an essential boosting move to knock out Tera Raids.

Try to find level 3 and 4 Star Electric, Fire, Poison, Rock, and Steel Tera Raids. Garchomp is a great Pokémon against those raids and farming them will become important to tackle a variety of Tera Raid types such as:

  • Flying
  • Water
  • Bug
  • Grass
  • Ice
  • Steel
  • Fairy
  • Bug

Why Garchomp is Great for Solo Raids:

  • Garchomp has great HP (108), Defense (95), and Attack (130) when graduating from 3 Star Tera Raids to 4 Star Tera Raids. You can always increase HP through EV training.
  • Garchomp has useful Abilities as Rough Skin is its best. When Garchomp gets hit by a move that makes contact, the attacker receives damage equal to 1⁄8 of their maximum HP.
  • Garchomp is immune to Electric-Types as a Ground-Type. It should stay as a Ground-Type when facing Electric Tera Raids.
  • Garchomp is resistant to many types such as Poison, Rock, and Fire-Types.
  • Garchomp can learn many Ground and Dragon moves. Earthquake is its most powerful Ground-Type Attack. Dragon Rush and Outrage are its most powerful Dragon-Type Attacks.
  • The Solo-Strategy with Garchomp is for it to hold an Expert Belt. Max out Garchomp’s Attack with Swords Dance. Use Earthquake against Electric-Types and Outrage against Dragon-Types. Use the move Protect to defend incoming attacks.
  • Swords Dance increases Garchomp’s Attack by two stages.
  • Earthquake deals 100 damage and will hit with double power if the opponent is underground due to the move Dig. It also strikes every Pokémon around it. During Tera Raids, Earthquake doesn’t damage teammates.
  • Outrage deals 120 damage. Garchomp attacks for 2-3 turns uninterrupted and can’t switch out. After 3 turns, it becomes confused.

For Level 4 Star Tera Raids

  • 80 HP
  • 119 Attack
  • 90 Defense
  • 54 Special Attack
  • 67 Special Defense
  • 90 Speed

It expires October 21, 2024. Mystery Code Revaroom is Level 50. It’s a Fighting Tera Type.

In case you’re reading this article past the date, Revaroom is common in East Province Area 3.

Sadly, it won’t be Level 50.

Analysis:

Varoom can be caught early when you’re attempting some gyms and a Pokéball is sufficient enough to catch it. Having Mystery Gift Revaroom is better though as it’s level 50. Shortly after defeating your 4’th gym, Casscarafa Gym, 4 Star Tera Raids become available. Revaroom should be used against Fairy, Ice, Rock, and Grass-Types.

Revaroom is immune to other Poison-Types. It can learn the move Shift Gear, crucial to knocking out Tera Raids.

Try to find Level 4 Star Fairy and Ice Tera Raids. Revaroom is an amazing Pokémon against those raids and farming them will become important to defeat 2 Tera Raid types such as:

  • Dragon
  • Flying

Why Revaroom is Great for Solo Raid:

  • Despite having low base HP (80), Revaroom makes up for having buffed up Attack (119) and Defense (90) stats when starting 4 Star Tera Raids. You can always increase HP through EV training.
  • Revaroom’s best Ability is Filter which reduces the damage taken from super-effective attacks by 25%.
  • Revaroom is immune to other Poison-Types and should stay a Poison Tera Type to poison a variety of Tera Pokémon. Fairy Pokémon have a hard time taking down Poison and Steel Pokémon.
  • Revaroom is resistant to most types besides Fire and Ground Types. Staying as a Steel Tera Type is essential for its Defense and boosting its Steel-Type moves such as Flash Canon.
  • Revaroom can learn many Poison and Steel-Type moves. Flash Canon, Spin Out, Steel Beam, and Gunk Shot are few of its powerful attacks.
  • The Solo-Strategy with Revaroom is to hold Black Sludge, which gradually restores HP every turn for only Poison-Types. Use Gunk Shot at least 1 time. Use Maximize the use of Shift Gear and attack with Spin Out twice. Terastalize and use Screech at least 1-2 times and finish off with either Gunk Shot or Spin Out.
  • Gunk Shot deals damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target.
  • Spin Out deals 100 damage with 100 accuracy, but harshly lowers Revaroom’s Speed.
  • Shift Gear increases Revaroom’s Attack by one stage and Speed by two stages. For Shift Gear to maximize Attack by 6 stages, the move Spin Out must lower Shift Gear’s effects, increasing Speed.
  • Screech lowers the target's Defense by two stages.

For Level 5 Star Tera Raids

The location of Wild Tera Dragonite is North from Levencia’s Lighthouse.

Analysis:

Dragonite can be caught late game, when you finish all the gyms. You can catch it efficiently with a Quick Ball, which is better than most Pokéballs. Most Dragonite are Level 55 or a little higher when you catch it. Dragonite should be used against Bug, Fighting, and Dragon-Types because it knows powerful Flying-Type attacks.

For other Tera Raids, it’s immune to Ground-Types. It can learn Dragon Dance, a boosted move to knock out Tera Raids.

Try to find Level 5 Star Bug, Fighting, and Dragon-Types. Dragonite is a fantastic Pokémon against those Tera Raids and farming them will become important to tackle a variety of Tera Raid Types such as:

  • Dark
  • Psychic
  • Normal
  • Fighting
  • Dragon

Why Dragonite is Great for Solo Raid:

  • Dragonite’s stats are so balanced when starting 5 Star Tera Raids, that EV training will be less work than most Pokémon. Hyper Train it in Montenerva to make it grow stronger against 5 Star Tera Raids.
  • Dragonite’s best Ability is Multiscale, reducing damage when HP is full.
  • Dragonite’s immune to Ground-Types and should stay as a Flying Tera Type for defense purposes.
  • Dragonite’s resistant to Grass, Fighting, Bug, Fire and Water.
  • Dragonite can learn many Dragon, Normal, and Flying moves. Hurricane, Hyper Beam, Extreme Speed, Dragon Rush, and Draco Meteor are its most powerful moves.
  • The Solo Strategy with Dragonite is for it to hold a Rocky Helmet, which makes physical Attackers receive recoil damage when attacking Dragonite. Make Extreme Speed the first move and use it 3 times to build Tera Orb charge. Terastalize early and use Dragon Dance at least 3 times or more. Finish the fight with Hurricane and use Roos if necessary.
  • Extreme Speed deals 82 damage and attacks before the majority of other moves.
  • Dragon Dance raises the user's Attack and Speed by one stage each.
  • Hurricane deals 110 damage and has a 30% chance of confusing the target.

For Level 5 Star Tera Raids

Teddiursa evolves to an Ursaring at Level 30. Ursaring cannot evolve further.

How to catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna:

Bloodmoon Ursaluna exists in the Teal Mask DLC / Kitakami. Talk to Perrin, and she’ll give you a quest to catch 150 Kitakami Pokémon. After that, talk to her again, and she’ll lead you the way.

Prioritize bringing lots of Ice-Type Pokémon such as a powerful Cetitian or the Dalizapa Passage Lucario.

Analysis:

Depending on your game progress, you can start the Kitakami / Teal Mask DLC any time.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna requires some level of work to catch. Complete all of Paldea’s Gyms so you can have an easier time catching it with an Ultra Ball.

Bloodmoonn Ursaluna should be used against Electric, Poison, and Ghost Tera Raids because it knows powerful Ground and Normal moves.

What makes Bloodmoon Ursaluna extremely unique is that it’s immune to Ghost and Electric Types. Its Mind’s Eye Ability ignores changes to opponents' evasiveness, its accuracy can't be lowered, and it can hit Ghost types with Normal and Fighting-Type moves. It’s known for its Blood Moon move. It could learn Swords Dance and Bulk Up, but Belly Drum is better.

Try to find Level 5 Star Ghost, Electric, and Poison Tera Raids. Bloodmoon Ursaluna is an excellent Pokémon against those raids and farming them will become important to tackle a variety of Tera Raid types such as:

  • Ghost
  • Psychic
  • Water
  • Flying
  • Fairy
  • Grass

Why Bloodmoon Ursaluna is Excellent for Solo Raid:

  • Bloodmoon Usraluna when you catch it with Perrin is Level 70. Most of its stats are over 100 (except its Speed) and has exceptional Special Attack (205).
  • Bloodmoon Ursaluna only has 1 Ability, Mind’s Eye. It’s designed to defeat Ghost-Types with Normal and Fighting moves. This is to make the move, Blood Moon work against Ghost-Types.
  • Bloodmoon Ursaluna is immune to Ghost and Electric-Type moves when it is not Terastalized. It’s better for it to stay as a Normal Tera Type to boost it’s unique move, Blood Moon and keep its Ghost-Immunity.
  • Bloodmoon Ursaluna resists Poison, Rock since they can hardly damage it. Fairy, Dark, Psychic, and Ground partially damage Bloodmoon Ursaluna by x1.
  • It can learn a smorgasbord of Normal, Ground, and Fighting moves. Blood Moon, High Horsepower, Earthquake, and Close Combat as its most powerful moves. It can learn Fairy-Type move, Play Rough, against Dragons with a Ghost or Electric Typing.
  • The Solo Strategy with Bloodmoon Ursaluna has 2 different held items. Give it a Silk Scarf to boost its Normal-Type moves. Or Give it a Clear Amulet protecting it from having its stats lowered by moves used against it or by other Pokémon’s Abilities.
  • Use Vacuum Wave as a first Priority move, and it can’t be walled by Ghost-Types. 2’nd, use Blood Moon. 3’rd, when the target nullifies stats, use Belly Drum immediately. If they’re not nullifying stats but are removing negative effects, use Earth Power. . 4’th, continue using Earth Power to build Tera Orb charge. Terastalize and use Blood Moon again
  • Blood Moon deals 140 damage. Unfortunately, this move can’t be used twice in a row. You have to spread out this move. It’s recommended to use it as your 2’nd attack and your 4’th or 5’th turn. With Mind’s Eye this move can hit Ghost-Types.
  • Vacuum Wave deals 40 Damage, and it always goes first as a pirority move. It’s a move that cannot be walled from Ghost-Types. With Mind’s Eye, you can hit Ghost-Types.
  • Earth Power deals 90 damage and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense by one stage.
  • Belly Drum makes Ursaluna lose 50% of its max HP, but Attack raises to maximum. This is to make Blood Moon, Vacuum Wave, and Earth Power more powerful, prepared to knock out Tera Target’s in Solo Tera Raids.

Farming for 6 Star Tera Raids is entirely different from the others before, because the Tera Typing level gets more sophisticated. Considering the amount of work to unlock 6 Star Tera Raids, you should immediately find Iron Hands.

Try to find Level 6 Star Dark or Water Tera Raids with another type such as Water, Bug, Flying, or Ice. With Iron Hands, you’re trying to farm:

  • Dark hybrids against Psychic hybrids.
  • Water hybrids against Ground hybrids
  • Flying hybrids against Grass hybrids

Why Iron Hands is Excellent for Solo Raid:

  • It’s possible to catch a Level 60 Iron Hands in Area 0 while Level 54 and 55 are more common. A rare Level 60 Iron Hands would need to upgrade only 30 more levels to participate in Level 6 Star Tera Raids.
  • Iron Hands has the Quark Drive Ability which increases the highest stat on Electric Terrain, or if holding Booster Energy.
  • While Iron Hands benefits from both an Electric and Fighting Tera Type, it should stay as a Fighting Tera Type to boost its Fighting Type moves such as Drain Punch and Close Combat.
  • Iron Hands resists Dark, Electric, Steel, and Rock-Types.
  • It can learn a variety of Fighting and Electric-Type moves. Drain Punch, Close Combat, Focus Punch, Wild Charge, and Thunder are its best powerful moves.

Use Belly Drum Right as a first move. 2’nd, use either Drain Punch or Thunder Punch as STAB moves to build Tera Orb Charge. Teratalize as a Fighting-Type and finish the fight with Close Combat.
  • Drain Punch deals 75 damage and the user will recover 50% of the HP drained.
  • Thunder Punch deals 75 damage and has a 10% chance of paralyzing the target.
  • Close Combat deals 120 damage but lowers the user's Defense and Special Defense by one stage each after attacking.
  • Belly Drum makes Azumarill lose 50% of its max HP, but Attack raises to maximum. This will make Play Rough and Liquidation more powerful.

Annihilape can be caught any time in the game’s story with a normal Pokéball, and you can train it throughout your journey so it can reach Level 90 - 100. It will be worthwhile to keep one by the time you unlock 6 Star Tera Raids after completing the Academy Ace Tournament.

Annihilape should be used against Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Normal, Ice, Rock, and Steel Tera Raids because it knows powerful Ghost and Fighting attacks.

Annihilape is immune to Normal and Fighting-Types. It can only affect Normal and Fighting Types with Fighting Type moves. It can learn a special move, Rage Fist, where the more times Annihilape has been hit by attacks, the greater the move's power.

Try to find Level 6 Star Psychic, Fighting, Ghost, and Dark Tera Raids with unusual typings.

As an example, Annihilape would be perfect against a Metagross with a Steel Tera Type.

With Annihilape you’re trying to farm:

  • Dark hybrids against Psychic hybrids
  • Psychic hybrids against Poison hybrids
  • Steel hybrids against Fairy hybrids
  • Fighting hybrids against elemental hybrids with a Normal Tera Type

Why Annihilape is Excellent for Solo Raid:

  • Aniihilape’s best Ability is Defiant, increasing the ability-bearer's Attack by two stages when hit by a stat-lowering move.
  • Annihilape is immune to Normal and Fighting-Types. It won’t do well in Normal Tera Raids because its special move, Rage Fist won’t work against Normal Types.
  • Annihilape’s resistant to Poison, Rock, and Bug. So, it’s recommended to join Fighting Tera Raids where the target mainly uses Poison, Rock, or Bug moves.
  • It can learn a variety of Fighting and Ghost-Type moves. Rage Fist, Counter, Focus Energy, Close Combat, Seismic Toss, Shadow Claw, Shadow Punch, and Nightshade are few of its best powerful moves. Annihilape’s strongest Egg Move is Curse.

  • Use Taunt to prevent your Bulk Up stats from decreasing. Finish the Tera Raid with Drain Punch or Rage Fist.
  • Rage Fist is a move where the more times Annihilape has been hit by attacks, the greater the move's power.
  • Drain Punch deals 75 damage and the user will recover 50% of the HP drained.
  • Bulk Up increases Annihilape’s Attack and Defense by one stage each.
  • Taunt prevents the target from using Status-category moves for three turns.

Skip that step and catch a Pikachu in South Cortondo.

You can EV train your Pikachu to have the same stats as the Mightiest Mark Pikachu.

Analysis:

Mightiest Mark Pikachu is one of the most relevant Pokémon to have on your Tera Raid roster this summer. It’s Level 100 and holds a Lightning Rod, which boosts its Special Attack when hit by Electric Type moves.

Here are its original moves:

  • Thunder
  • Surf
  • Play Rough
  • Iron Tail

7 Star Tera Raids are Pokémon Events, and they are supposed to be the most extreme level.

It’s important to slightly adjust your Level 100 Pokémon’s moves.

Mightiest Mark Pikachu is very unique since it is a Water Tera Type which reduces damage from Ground-Types. It’s only entirely weak to Grass-Types. It was useful against the Mightiest Mark Dondonzo Tera Raid. If that raid occurs again, choose the Mightiest Mark Pikachu. Hold on to it for future event Tera Raids.

Mightiest Mark Pikachu should be used against 7 Star Tera Raids:

  • Electric (A)
  • Fire (B)
  • Water (C)
  • Flying (D)
  • Ground (E)
  • Dragon (F)
  • Fairy (G)

All of which changes few of its original movesets.

A. Swap out Thunder for Dig against Electric Tera Raids.

B. Swap out Iron Tail for Charm against Fire Tera Raids.

C. Swap out Play Rough and Iron Tail for Eerie Impulse and Fake Tears against Water Tera Raids.

D. Make no changes against Flying Tera Raids.

E. Swap Out Thunder and Iron Tail for Grass Knot and Rain Dance against Ground Tera Raids.

F. Swap out Surf and Iron Tail for Draining Kiss and Protect against Dragon Tera Raids.

G. Swap out Play Rough and Surf for Light Screen and Egg Move Wish against Fairy Tera Raids.

Why Mightiest Mark Pikachu is Fantastic for Solo Raid:

  • Mightiest Mark Pikachu’s best stats are its HP (211), Special Attack (149), Attack (146), and Speed (194). Moves like Trailblaze, can boost its Speed stat even more while the target misses attacking Pikachu.
  • Mightiest Mark Pikachu’s best ability is Lightning Rod, which boosts its Special Attack when hit by Electric Type moves.
  • It resists Steel, Fire, Water, and Ice-types.
  • It can learn many powerful Electric, Normal, Dark, Fairy, and Grass moves. Thunder, Take Down, Play Rough, Iron Tail, Dig, Surf, and Reversal are the most powerful moves.
  • The common Solo Strategy with Mightiest Mark Pikachu is to keep holding the Lightning Rod if it is an Electric Tera Raid. Use Nasty Plot 3 times and summon Rain Dance on the 4’th move, boosting Thunder’s accuracy. Use Thunder as a STAB move to build Tera Orb charge and end the Tera Raid with either Surf and thunder.
  • By keeping its original moveset, the alternate Solo Strategy is to use Iron Tail and Play Rough as the core moves lowering the target’s Attack and Defense. This also builds Tera Orb charge. After lowering the target’s stats 3-5 times, Terastalize and end the Tera Raid with Thunder or Surf depending on the target’s super effective weakness.
  • Thunder deals 110 damage and has a 30% rate paralyzing the target.
  • Surf deals 90 direct damage.
  • Play Rough deals 90 damage with 90 Accuracy and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Attack by one stage.
  • Iron Tail deals 100 damage with 75 accuracy and has a 30% chance of lowering the target's Defense by one stage.

Analysis:

Mightiest Mark Skeptile is one of the most relevant Pokémon to have on your Tera Raid roster this summer. It’s Level 100 and has the Unburden Ability, boosting its Speed stat if Skeptile’s held item is used or lost.

Here are its original moves:

  • Leaf Blade
  • Breaking Swipe
  • Dragon Dance
  • Thunder Punch

Mightiest Mark Skeptile is unique since it is a Dragon Tera Type, reducing damage from elemental types especially Fire. It’s mostly weak to Ice and Fairy, while only Dragons with Ice moves can impact it. Since Grass-Types are super effective against Water-Types, it was useful against the Mightiest Mark Dondonzo event. Hold on to it for future event Tera Raids.

It should be used against 7 Star Tera Raids:

  • Water (A)
  • Ground (B)
  • Rock (B)
  • Dragon (C)
  • Normal (D)
  • Flying (E)
  • Psychic (F)
  • Dark (G)
  • Fighting (H)

All of which changes few of its original movesets.

A. Makes no changes against Water and Tera Raids.

B. Swap out Thunder Punch for Giga Drain against Ground and Rock Tera Raids.

C. Its original moveset is fantastic against Dragon Tera Raids. Consider Grassy Terrain for Thunder Punch to boost Leaf Blade.

D. Swap out Breaking Swipe and Dragon’s Dance for Swords Dance and Drain Punch against Normal Tera Raids.

E. Its original moveset is fantastic against Flying Tera Raids. Alternatively, you may swap out Breaking Swipe and Leaf Blade for Screech and Swords Dance.

F. Swap out Leaf Blade and Breaking Swipe for Crunch and X-Scissor against Psychic Tera Raids.

G. Swap out Thunder Punch and Leaf Blade for Drain Punch and Quick Guard against Dark Tera Raids.

H. Swap out Leaf Blade and Thunder Punch for Acrobatics and Giga Drain against Fighting Tera Raids.

Why Mightiest Mark Skeptile is Fantastic for Solo Raid:

  • Mightiest Mark Skeptile’s best stats are its HP (281), Special Attack (246), Attack (206), and Speed (303). Moves like Swords Dance can boost its Attack stat even more.
  • Mightiest Mark Skeptile has the Unburden Ability, boosting its Speed stat if Skeptile’s held item is used or lost. You want a useful item, such as a Mirror Herb, which copies an opponent's stat increases when consumed.
  • It resists Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric-Types.
  • It can learn many Grass, Fighting, Dragon, Normal, Dark, Bug, and Flying moves. Leaf Storm, Drain Punch, Dragon Pulse, Facade, Assurance, X Scissor, and Aerial Ace are few of its best powerful moves.
  • The common Solo Strategy with Mightiest Mark Skeptile is to keep holding the Mirror Herb in any Tera Raid. Lead with Leaf Blade as STAB moves. Defend Skeptile with the move Protect. Terastalize and finish the Tera Raid with Acrobatics or Leaf Blade.
  • By keeping its original moveset, the alternate Solo Strategy is to use Thunder Punch or Leaf Blade to build Tera Orb charge. Maximize the use of Dragon’s Dance, and use Breaking Swipe in between. Terastalize and finish the Tera Raid with Leaf Blade or Thunder Punch, whichever is super effective.
