15 Best LOL Skins That Look Freakin Awesome!

Even though League of Legends is a free to play game, only League’s newest skincan fill the empty void inside you. Riot Games have developed several masterpieces over the past few years, and many of their best skins are in this list. This was written based on my opinion. There are other great skins out there, but these are my personal favorites.

15) Battle Bunny Riven

Battle Bunny Riven is an old but gold skin released in 2012. It is iconic for Riven mains as it allows them to watch their favorite sword-wielding girl prance around the Rift in heels and a bunny suit, killing everything in their way. What makes this skin great is the juxtaposition between the skin and the actions of the skin. The last thing the enemy team sees before they die is a fluffy pair of bunny ears… and a tail.

Why this skin rocks:

It’s a classic skin and a throwback to the good old days
It gives the enemy a fear of bunnies
Who doesn’t like a girl in a bunny suit?

14) Moo Cow Alistar

Moo Cow Alistar was released as part of 2017’s April Fools skins. This is one of the most amusing skins in this line, especially his dance. Alistar just stands there, banging on a cowbell with a stick. There have been instances where people just stand around him, having a dance party on the Rift while he provides the beat. His recall also features him feeding kittens with a bowl of milk.

13) Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank

Lancer Paragon Blitzcrank was released in 2017, along with its counterpart, Lancer Rogue Blitzcrank. In my opinion, this was the better looking of the two, and it is the best looking Blitzcrank skin released thus far. It features a smooth, sleek look with gorgeous VFX when different skills are activated. When he ults, a stunning turquoise lightning cloud explodes from the model. His hook spins and glows green blue when he uses it. Overall, this is a beautiful skin with pleasing colors.

Looks medieval but somehow high-tech as well

You can now destroy Iron and Bronze players in style

12) Pizza Sivir

The Pizza Sivir skin was released as part of the 2018 April Fool’s event. Instead of a boomerang, Sivir throws a pizza, slicing the flesh of her enemies. Every few pizzas, the toppings change, from pepperoni, to Hawaiian, to sausage. Instead of a magical blue aura, Sivir raises a shield made of pizza grease to defend against enemy abilities. As a bonus, this skin gives you a brand new way to feed the enemy team.

11) DJ Sona

DJ Sona is an ultimate skin released in 2015. This skin is quite unique as it includes unique, in game music tracks that are shareable with her teammates. Additionally, this skin has 3 different forms, each with a unique ingame soundtrack and VFX. This is an amazing two in one skin, pleasing both the user’s eyes and ears.

10) Star Guardian Ezreal

Star Guardian Ezreal was released in 2018. While all of the skins in the Star Guardian line are gorgeous, the ones from the more recent set are more polished than the previous one. I selected Ezreal’s as it is more unique. Rather than a dress, Ezreal sports a pair of fancy pants and a high-tech, star-powered gauntlet. His abilities are gorgeous in this skin with blue VFX, especially his ultimate, which features his adorable familiar.

9) God Fist Lee Sin

God Fist Lee Sin was released in 2017. In this skin, Lee Sin truly looks like an ascended monk, glowing golden and sending out blinding energy blasts. The ability effects look mystical as he sends shockwaves through his enemies with his ultimate, setting enemies ablaze with holy fire.

This skin truly shows off his prowess of martial arts.

8) Mecha Aatrox

The original pre-rework Mecha Aatrox skin was released in 2014, but after Aatrox was reworked in 2018, the skin got an epic new makeover instead. Featuring badass hexagonal effects, Aatrox looks like a sexy Gundam with a giant sword. During his ultimate, his wings are a gorgeous, transparent gold, intercrossed with veins of light.

7) Pulsefire Caitlyn

Pulsefire Caitlyn was released in 2017. In this skin, Caitlyn becomes a badass, classy woman with a giant shotgun, diving through portals to snipe her enemies. This futuristic skin features Caitlyn riding her gun, glowing blue attacks, and a fancy lock on animation when she uses her ult. As a bonus, she sits on her gun and drinks tea.

6) Project Vayne

Project Vayne was released in 2017 as a part of the PROJECT:Hunters event. She is sleek, she is deadly, and she is sexy, riding into battle on a motorcycle. All of her skills become angular and futuristic, featuring neon purples in all of her abilities and glimmering VFX. During her ultimate, her weapon transforms into a glowing purple crossbow. She is, in my opinion, the best Project skin released thus far.

5) KDA Ahri

KDA Ahri was released in 2018 as a part of the KDA skin line created in honor of the League of Legends World Championships held in Korea. The most transfixing part of this skin are Ahri’s crystalline tails, featuring flecks of pink, glimmering in the light. All of her abilities become faceted and gemlike with shimmering VFX, emphasizing the luxurious celebrity life these skins are featuring.

4) IG Irelia

IG Irelia was released in 2019 in honor of world champion Lee "Duke" Ho-Seong as his champion of choice. This entire skinline is themed after fallen angels, and this skin really shows it, sprouting a pair of phantom wings during certain abilities. IG Irelia also features delicate feather VFX, glowing bladework, and flowing wing decals in her costume. Out of all the beautiful skins in the line, IG Irelia is the most unique in my opinion.

3) KDA Akali

KDA Akali was released in 2018 as part of the KDA skin line in honor of the League of Legends World Championship held in Korea. This is the best and most popular skin in the set due to the wonderful neon effects shown in the music video and when Akali enters her smokescreen. Furthermore, this is a very high-quality, good looking skin with gorgeous VFX that has generated tons of fanart.

2) Elementalist Lux

The Elementalist Lux skin is arguably the best ultimate skin that League has to offer. Lux has 10 different forms. You can have up to 3 forms per game, changing your element after building up energy from attacking enemies. Later on in the game, you can combine the elements to get her final form. This is one of the most diverse skins I have encountered, and the effects are amazing.

1) Corgi Corki

The Corgi Corki Skin was released in the 2019 April Fool’s event, Cats Vs. Dogs. Corgi Corki is the most amazing skin in the set, spewing rainbows, tennis balls, and dog toys. However, what sets this skin in first place on this list is the corgi butt. It jiggles and wiggles as Corki dances around, showing off the goods in the circle. It is perfect for BM by spamming dance in the direction of your enemy as all they see is a wobbling pair of fluffy buns. The butt makes this skin the best skin ever released by Riot Games in my humble opinion.
