The Valorant Last Chance Qualifier for North America started off with Gen.G Esports facing off against 100 Thieves on 12 October 2021. 100 Thieves won, advancing to the next round to compete against XSET, who beat Luminosity Gaming on 13 October 2021.
On 27 October 2021, Rise competed against Faze Clan, with Rise taking a win and advancing to the next round to compete against Cloud9 Blue. On 28 October 2021, Cloud9 Blue competed against Version1, taking a win. They advanced to the next round where they lost to Rise.
29 October 2021 Gen.G won against LG. On the same day, Faze Clan lost to Version1, and Gen.G Esports lost to Cloud9 Blue.
30 October 2021 saw Version1 pitched against XSET, Rise against 100 Thieves, and Cloud9 Blue against XSET. After battling it out in the Lower Bracket finals against 100 Thieves, Cloud9 Blue advanced to the final round to compete against Rise, who had taken the victory from 100 Thieves in the Upper Bracket final.
Cloud9 Blue played a total of 5 matches against Rise. Match 1 was won by C9 with 13:8 in their favor. Match 2 finished with 12:0 in C9s favor. Match 3 was another win for C9 with 13:11 as the score. With the win of their third round against Rise, Cloud9 Blue secured victory in the Last Chance Qualifier and won themselves a ticket to the Grand Final.
