Welcome to Hell Let Loose, the only game where you can run 200 meters, die, smash your desk a couple of times, and continue to play this PTSD simulator because you’re a masochist.

But it’s also important to know which class is the best to play if you’ve just started playing. So, now that we know what we’re gonna talk about, let’s roll with the first class:

5. Rifleman

You are the one getting shot here…

The Rifleman is the bread and butter of every army and you’ll see these guys pretty much everywhere in a match. They are usually armed with semi-automatic or bolt-action rifles. Furthermore, they are equipped with protective gear like bandages, as well as offensive grenades. Good at medium to long distances, but kinda struggle at closer distances.

Why this class is great for starters:

• This class can always be picked
• Accurate weaponry(medium-long distances)
• Weapons are mostly semi-automatic

Pick this class IF:

• You’ve just started playing Hell Let Loose
• You enjoy playing more passively, as opposed to assault classes
• You want to learn the game before playing other crucial classes

4. Medic

Medick!

Medics are not really that difficult to play, you only need decent map awareness that you should have developed when you were playing as the regular infantry. Furthermore, medics can get plenty of points not only from killing enemies but also from reviving teammates - keep in mind that you won’t be able to revive beheaded or dismembered friendlies…

Why you should pick this class as a starter:

• Medics are not too complicated to play
• You can slowly start learning team cooperation
• Get plenty of points from healing

Pick this class IF:

• Your team lacks medics
• You find reviving fun
• You like to hear your teammates cry for not helping them

3. Sniper

The most annoying class.

Snipers, as well all know, are great at long distances and shooting powerful weaponry that 90% of the time 1-shot enemies. It’s also worth adding that this class serves newer players, as they can hide comfortably in a bush and wait for suicidal grunts to rush at objectives.

Why this is a good starter class:

• Pretty safe to play
• Each bullet deals enough damage to instakill an enemy
• Great at picking off targets 1 by 1

Pick this class IF:

• You don’t want to go to the frontline, coward
• You enjoy hearing the *PING* sounds from hearing headshots
• Do you fancy killing dozens of infantry rushing at a target

2. Machine Gunner

RATATATATATATATATAT

Although this class has an incredibly fast rate of fire due to the machine guns, as well as high magazine clips, there are issues - they are extremely easy to kill by enemy snipers and tanks. If you don’t change your locations too often, you can expect to get whacked sooner or later. Rushing with this class is also silly and you should use it from longer or medium distances!

Why this class is good for starting:

• Won’t run out of ammo too soon
• The bipod makes recoil control extremely easy
• Still relatively high damage per bullet, despite the ammo count

Pick this class IF:

• You enjoy supporting your teammates by causing suppressive fire
• Mowing down tens of soldiers gets you horny
• You enjoy LARPing as John Rambo from time to time

1. Assault

For storming activities.

These guys are pretty easy to play, as they have to offer automatic weaponry. In general, this class is meant for close-quarters combat, which means your primary job will be to storm apartments, streets, alleyways, and whatever else you can find in a city. Pave way for the regular infantry and clear buildings from Anti-Tank soldiers that can destroy your friendlies in tanks!

Why this is a good starting class:

• Automatic weaponry makes it extremely easy to get kills
• Very effective at close-range combat
• The most action-packed class of all the other classes

Pick this class IF:

• You want to get straight into action(aka storming buildings, killing people, etc)
• Your team is full of pussies who lack assault units, although that’s unlikely
• You like to ambush teams who just spawned on a garrison
