[Top 14] Hell Let Loose Best Controller Settings

They just keep on coming…

You gotta know what the best settings for your controller are. Playing Hell Let Loose on the PC is not an easy task, let alone on a goddamn console.

That’s why we’ll talk about some useful settings for Hell Let Loose, explain what value you should set them to, and why they’re good. Let’s start:

14. Map Cursor Sensitivity

Nothing special, this helps you move the cursor around the map. You can select a value between 1 and 100%.

I use it at around 60% - in your case, it can be at any value - maybe even 100% if you’re feeling like the Super Sonic!

13. Invert First Person Controller X-Axis

This setting is strange - it reverses your controls and causes you to look left when you want to look right.

Why would this setting be on? I don’t know, it’s pretty worthless and will give you more PTSD than the game itself(seriously, switch it off).

12. Invert First Person Controller Y-Axis

Like with the previous setting, this time you’re gonna look LEFT when you want to look RIGHT.

Now, imagine switching this and the X-axis setting on - it would be a bigger clusterf$ck than the battle for Stalingrad!

11. Lean Toggle

You can either hold a button to lean left/right or press it once/press it again to toggle between the stances.

I keep this setting on, I don’t find it comfortable holding a button and then trying to shoot at the same time, can get confusing sometimes…

10. Sprint Toggle

Hold a button or press it once to sprint. In Hell Let Loose, you’ll be sprinting, ALOT!

That’s why you should switch this setting ON - your thumb might fall off or whatever finger you’re using to sprint.

9. Vibration

Your controller starts vibrating when there’s an explosion nearby, either caused by a grenade or an artillery shell, or by whatever.

Turn it off, it can be pretty distracting and hard to aim with, it’s also unbelievably sensitive, as your controller will react to a grenade thrown from tens of meters away.

8. Controller Sensitivity

Decides your overall sensitivity of the controller. Anything below 40% is pretty sluggish, while any value set above 70% is pretty fast.

I have my controller set at 60-65%. It fluctuates depending on my performance/salt levels.

7. Invert Vehicle Controller X-Axis

Back here again… If you’re gonna be driving a truck, a tank, or whatever, your controls are gonna be inverted, which means that if you’ll want to look left, you’re gonna look right.

I have this setting turned the hell OFF. I tried playing like this in MW2 14 years ago and I still can’t recover psychologically!

6. Invert Vehicle Controller Y-Axis

Up=Down, Down=Up. It inverts your Y-Axis, causing you to look in opposite directions.

You know my answer to this already… turn it off, and have mercy on your soul!

5. Look Deadzone

This setting decides how much you have to push the analog stick before you can look around.

Again, I have this thing set to default - I don’t wanna mess with it, as so far I’ve had plenty of success by not fiddling around with my settings too much.

4. Adaptive Triggers

A cool setting that boosts immersion and realism while shooting and driving vehicles.

It can be rather annoying though, as shooting in this game is hard enough and you don’t want any cool special effects messing with your KDA.

3. Controller Sensitivity

This setting on the other hand decides how much sensitive your controller is going to be while aiming down sights.

There’s no clear answer to what value you should have this setting set to - some players have it above 60%, while other players at below 40%. It all depends on the gameplay and how far away you are from your enemy.

2. Movement Deadzone

This setting can be set between 1% and 100% and it decides how much you have to push your thumbstick before it starts registering movement on your screen.

I have this setting set by default, which is 8% and I find gameplay comfortable at that value unless you want to set it to 100% and remain in 1 place for the rest of the game!

1. ADS Toggle

ADS stands for aim down sights. This setting lets you toggle between having to hold a button to ADS or just pressing it once.

I have it switched off but you might disagree with me - switch it to whatever you find comfortable after a few rounds of HLL!
