Fuze is one of the most powerful operators in Siege, and is definitely the most destructive. With his special gadget, the Cluster Charges, he can drop explosives after explosives on an area in order to destroy a lot of defender gadgets, instill panic, or force defenders out of their entrenched positions. This is a frightening ability, especially when you’re a defender and the objective spot that you’re going to defend is on a lower floor. On top of his special gadget that can rain down explosives and deny area to defenders, Fuze has a wide variety of weapons and gadgets to choose from, and all of them pack a lot of firepower.

 

5. 6P41 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Smoke Grenade

The 6P41 was one of the most popular and overpowered guns in Siege before Operation Brutal Swarm dropped. That’s because before the recoil progression overhaul that dropped with Operation Brutal Swarm, the 6P41 LMG, heck, most LMGs, had a very manageable recoil. So, players got to abusing the LMG’s huge magazine capacity and just brute forced their way in winning gunfights by continuously spraying with them. Now, the weapon has been severely nerfed and its recoil is much harder to control. However, it remains a very viable weapon for Fuze.

That’s because it still inflicts heavy damage per shot, has a wide variety of attachments available to it, and of course it has a huge magazine capacity. The only difference now is that players won’t be able to shoot it for really long sprays, but they can still effectively fire around thirty bullets with it without losing much control, which is like the average magazine capacity for assault rifles and submachine guns anyway. So, with the 6P41 LMG, the player can just think of it as having an assault rifle or a submachine gun, and instead of reloading after thirty shots, they can simply stop for a bit and then continue firing.

Excels in:

  • Heavy damage per shot from the 6P41 LMG makes it a killing machine at close to medium range
  • Having a huge magazine capacity with the 6P41 LMG which lessens the possibility of having to reload in the middle of a gun fight
  • Having a wide variety of attachments available to the 6P41 LMG making it very customizable according to the user’s own playstyle
  • Having the best recoil control on the PMM handgun due to the presence of the muzzle brake barrel attachment
  • Providing cover for the whole attacking team’s push with the use of the two smoke grenades in Fuze’s generic gadget slot

4. AK-12 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Breach Charge

The AK-12 is the easiest fully automatic weapon to use for Fuze now after the recent recoil progression overhaul. It inflicts heavy damage per shot and has a fast rate of fire. Its recoil is a bit rough but remains manageable especially when the vertical grip is present as one of its attachments. But with the flash hider also present on the weapon, the AK-12's vertical recoil will be very low and the user will only have to worry about taming its horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions. Its scope 2.0x is a very balanced sight that will provide the user with a high level of zoom without sacrificing a lot of peripheral view.

The flash hider also just doesn’t lower the weapon’s vertical recoil. It will also remove the AK-12's muzzle flash, therefore, lessening the visual cues that enemies could use to pinpoint your exact location. As for the secondary weapon in this loadout setup, it makes more sense to run with a muzzle brake and laser on your PMM handgun instead of suppressing it, since as Fuze, you’ll be making a lot of noise anyway, either through your special gadget, or your movements as a heavy armored operator. The breach charges on the other hand will be useful for creating soft breaches or destroying wooden floors above the objective spot.

  • Lowering the vertical recoil of the AK-12 due to the presence of both the flash hider and vertical grip attachments

3. AK-12 with Scope 2.0x, Compensator, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Breach Charge

The AK-12 is one of those guns where the compensator actually trumps the flash hider when it comes to recoil benefits. That’s because the AK-12's rough recoil mainly stems from its horizontal recoil rather than its vertical weapon kick. The compensator reduces the weapon’s recoil diamond, therefore, reduces its horizontal recoil and random recoil from all directions. That’s why with the compensator, you will notice that you’re able to shoot the AK-12 smoother, especially in longer sprays, and its recoil won’t be that erratic.

Of course, a degree of vertical recoil control is important, and that’s where the vertical grip comes. This loadout setup provides the best recoil control on the AK-12 because the compensator will work on reducing its horizontal recoil, while the vertical grip will work on holding down its vertical weapon kick. The generic gadget for this loadout, the breach charges, will provide Fuze with the ability to destroy wooden floors above objective spots, and that will allow him to perform further vertical play after he’s done raining explosives on the defenders with his Cluster Charges.

Excels in:

  • Having the most stable firing experience with the AK-12 assault rifle with the compensator reducing the size of its recoil diamond
  • Maintaining a great amount of vertical recoil control on the AK-12 assault rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment
  • Having an ample amount of zoom level with the scope 2.0x while still not sacrificing a lot on peripheral view
  • Having great recoil control on the PMM handgun due to the muzzle brake and tightening its hip fire with the laser attachment
  • Being able to perform soft breaching and destroy wooden floors above objective spots with the use of the breach charges

2. Ballistic Shield + PMM with Muzzle Brake + Hard Breach Charge

For a lot of players, especially more experienced ones, this is actually the best loadout setup for Fuze. The only reason I put it on second spot is that it can be very challenging to use. It’s just going to be much easier to frag enemies with the AK-12 than with the PMM handgun while covering yourself with a shield. However, if the player really knows what he’s doing, this loadout setup gives Fuze a lot of tactical advantages. Obviously, it will be harder for Fuze to get killed with a Ballistic Shield in front of him. That increase in survivability rate increases his chances of using all of his Cluster Charges before he gets taken down.

It’s also very useful when Fuze is in an organized team. That’s because his teammate can kill whoever’s shooting at his shield and then he can proceed on bombarding the objective spot with explosives. Fuze can also use himself as a distraction in order to make enemies move towards a spot where they will be vulnerable to a pre-placed Cluster Charge. Seriously, watch that Fuze clip from Macie Jay, it’s awesome. And of course, the hard breach charges will allow Fuze to go down to the objective spot once he’s done softening it up with continuous bombardment from his special gadget.

Excels in:

  • Makes Fuze harder to take down and increases the chances of him being able to use all of his Cluster Charges before he gets killed
  • Allows Fuze to gather intel on enemy positions while being protected by his Ballistic Shield
  • Allows Fuze to be a distraction and lead an enemy to a spot where a pre-placed Cluster Charge can take the enemy out
  • Having a great recoil control on the PMM handgun with the use of the muzzle brake barrel attachment
  • Allows Fuze to destroy reinforced hatches through the use of the hard breach charges which will allow him quickly go down the objective area after performing a vertical attack

1. AK-12 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, and Vertical Grip + PMM with Muzzle Brake and Laser + Breach Charge

This is the best loadout setup for Fuze because the suppressor just simply brings a lot to table with its great stealth benefits and allows Fuze to be more tactical. The suppressor on the AK-12 will allow Fuze to shoot at opponents without them receiving a directional threat indicator of where Fuze’s shots are coming from. It will also hide the AK-12's muzzle flash and greatly dampen its gunshot sound. All of these perks will make it harder for enemies to counter attack because they won’t immediately figure out where Fuze is shooting from.

The suppressed AK-12 is a really great partner to the breach charges because after Fuze has used up all his Cluster Charges to soften up the objective spot, he can use the breach charges to destroy large portions of the wooden floor above it. That will expose the defenders below and will allow Fuze to shoot them from above. And having the perk of his shots not creating a directional threat indicator can really make it hard for enemies below to see where exactly Fuze is shooting them from. As for the secondary weapon the muzzle brake on the PMM handgun will greatly lower its recoil and the laser will really tighten its hip fire.

Excels in:

  • Shooting enemies without providing them a directional threat indicator of where your shots are coming from
  • Hiding the muzzle flash of Fuze’s AK-12 will further lessen the visual cues that enemies could use to pinpoint Fuze’s location
  • Dampening the AK-12's gunshot sound with the use of the suppressor will make it even harder for enemies to know where Fuze is
  • Having great recoil control on the PMM handgun because of the muzzle brake barrel attachment
  • Having a tight hip fire on the PMM handgun because of the laser attachment
  • Being able to perform soft breaching on unreinforced walls and destroy portions of the wooden floor above the objective spot through the use of the breach charges
