Akuma (S Tier)
Hailing from the street fighter franchise, Akuma's inclusion in Tekken was always controversial, and rightfully so. Akuma fundamentally breaks Tekken by being able to have a projectile, meter, and Special cancels. In Tekken, Jumping isn't used that much, but being from a 2d game where jumping is essential, Akuma makes use of this in Tekken very well. Just about any jumping attack from Akuma is Plus on block and can lead to big damage if he manages to land a hit (which he always will). His punishment is also nothing to sneeze at, every character in Tekken has a universal 10 frame jab. This allows them to punish any unsafe move that is 10 frames or more on block. Akuma's 10 frame punishment can lead to crazy damage. If you land an unsafe move on Akuma, say bye-bye to your life bar.
Fahkumram (S Tier)
Fighting for freedom, Fahkumram replaces Bruce as the premier Muay Thai practitioner. While Akuma's high damage combos require execution to pull off, Fahkumram's high damage combos are pretty easy. Fahkumram's mix-up game is scary, with different ways to end his many strings. He also has a hell sweep (launching low, the Mishima also have this) and a guard break built into these strings, making his pressure during neutral and at the wall scary. Being a tall character, He also has long limbs, making his keep-out game pretty good. Fahkumram overall is a strong character with many tools at his disposal.
Devil Jin (S Tier)
Ah, Devil Jin. ever since Tekken 5, Devil Jin has always been high on tier lists. He is the most balanced Mishima compared to Heihachi and Kazuya. Devil Jin has a strong keep-out move with electric wind god fist. Strong 50/50s with hell sweep and great mids along with great punishment. Now while this sounds good, Devil Jin will require execution to make use of these tools properly.
Julia Chang (S Tier)
Julia returns to Tekken 7 with a plethora of tools in her moveset. She has it all, A throw game, great wall carry, and a strong mix-up game. Her space control is good with her go-to poke, party crasher (12 frame poke). Her stances allow her mix-up game and evasion to be good in any situation. Clockwork stance gives her access to High, Low, and Mid options with the low being a full sweep to give her Okizeme. Julia's combos do well in terms of wall carry but require some execution to pull off to make the most of them.
Geese Howard (S Tier)
The second 2d fighter to enter Tekken, Geese, retains all of his tools from KOF. He also has the “2d jump,” which allows him to get his pressure going. Geese can be quite oppressive if you lack match-up knowledge. Unlike Akuma though, Geese's damage output is pretty normal in comparison. Geese also can play keep out with his strong projectile if he wishes to. Geese can also special cancel his jabs just like Akuma. Just like Akuma, Geese will require meter and execution to access all of his strong options, making him an advanced character.
