Kayn is a strong jungler who can acquire two different forms in the late game both of which have their utility and powers. He only has a handful of skins. Here we will rank all of them from worst to best based on different attributes. We will discuss Rhaast and Shadow Assassin separately for each skin.

4. Soulhunter Kayn

Soulhunter Kayn gives new spectral colours to Kayn and makes him look even more formidable. The orbs released from attacking ranged champions are orange and from melee are green. His E when untransformed makes him glow orange. All his abilities have spectral colours.

As Kayn turns into Shadow Assassin form, he wears a hat. His clothes become crimson coloured and his scythe has orange marks on it. Now all his abilities have orange colours.

If you choose to become Rhaast, he comes with spectral colours which look pretty awesome. The spectral colours are maintained in all his abilities as well.

The skin comes with a new recall animation and new SFX.

3. Nightbringer Kayn

Nightbringer Kayn is a very special skin which reverses the usual theme of Kayn and Rhaast. In this skin, Rhaast is featured as the Dawnbringer. 

The passive orbs are red for attacking ranged champions and blue for melee champions.

Before transforming, Kayn looks like he’s half Nightbringer and half Dawnbringer. His abilities also follow the same theme.

Shadow Assassin Kayn acquires the red theme in this skin and all his abilities get reddish particles.

Rhaast being the Dawnbringer has a model in white and blue colours. All his abilities follow the blue theme.

The recall animation has been changed. All his forms have different recall animations. Overall it is a very nicely designed skin.

Prestige Nightbringer Kayn

The Nightbringer Kayn skin also has a prestige edition that adds a golden lustre to Kayn and all his forms. This chroma can be obtained via 125 Mythic Essences when it is in rotation by the Mythic shop. 

2. Snow Moon Kayn

As with the rest of his skins, this skin is also very beautifully designed as Kayn’s two forms contrast between a Blood Moon Rhaast and a Snow Moon Shadow Assassin. Rhaast gets red colours while Shadow Assassin gets white, frosty colours and effects.

Kayn in his base form, as usual, has elements of both Blood Moon and Snow Moon. Attacking melee champions release crimson-coloured orbs while attacking ranged champions release white-coloured orbs. All abilities have a mixture of snow particles and crimson particles. The recall animation is new but does not show any moon.

Rhaast gets the full Blood Moon theme. His recall animation shows the Blood Moon itself. All his abilities follow the Blood Moon theme with their crimson particles. 

Shadow Assassin Kayn gets frost particles in all his abilities and his recall animation shows a white-coloured moon. In my opinion, Shadow Assassin looks way cooler over here. His E ability even turns him into an icy being.

1. Odyssey Kayn

Odyssey Kayn is Kayn’s Legendary skin that brings an overhaul to the champion in all aspects. From the auto-attack animations to the emotes everything is revamped.

Kayn is featured as an emperor wielding an alien scythe that wants to destroy the World. The passive orbs are blue for attacking ranged champions and yellow for attacking melee champions. 

Before transforming, Kayn’s abilities have golden and purple particles to them. His E turns him into a purplish form as if he is transcending through dimensions. When R is casted, Kayn’s portrait is shown above the enemy. This is followed in his 2 forms as well.

Rhaast is the alien scythe and when he consumes Kayn, a golden-red being appears. All abilities now have golden-red particles. For this skin, Rhaast looks way better than Shadow Assassin.

Shadow Assassin is a blue-coloured emperor. His abilities now have blue-coloured particles. 

All 3 forms of Kayn have their recall animations.
