[Watch] All Starfield Videos And ArtWork Released So Far
I wonder what will happen if I jump into a black hole.

Sup, you absolute legends. Today we’ll be taking a look at one of the most anticipated RPG games that is coming out this year and its none other than Starfield itself. One of the first games that got me into the fantasy genre altogether was none other than Bethesda’s Morrowind and since then I was completely hooked onto the company and their magnificent games. They have released countless games that are simply breathtaking and are some of the best RPG games we have today.

In Bethesda's video games we can completely immerse ourselves into the fantasy world and become anything that we want to. Starfield will be no exception to that and it will completely immerse us into the role of being an astronaut and exploring the galaxy. Since the game isn’t coming out anytime soon we’ll be taking a look at the official videos and artworks that have been released so far. So strap in, get some popcorn, and let’s get into it!

64. Starfield - Official Announcement Teaser

Our great journey began way back in 2018 when the first ever teaser was released onto the world and Bethesda Games graced us with this new upcoming space exploration game that is in the works.

The announcement didn’t show us a lot and didn’t explain what the game was about. All we could see was a big planet and a space station which then zoomed through the universe. It was safe to say that everyone was excited about this new up and coming game from Bethesda.

63. Starfield: Official Teaser Trailer

Bethesda Softworks after 3 years of silence finally breaks it with the official teaser for the game. Up to this point we had no information on what the game was about or where its main setting would be and how big of a project it was until the year 2021 at E3. When this game popped up everyone over the world went crazy.

The teaser trailer showed us a ship that was powering on and trying to lift off a planet. The best damn thing that happens in the trailer is by the end when the ship fully powers up a release date pops up saying “11-11-22” but sadly that wouldn’t come out to be true as the game would be delayed later on the 12th of May 2022.

62. Into The Starfield: The Journey Begins

The second video that we got from Bethesda Games about Starfield was a constellation log where Todd Howard explains how they are finally ready to create the best damn game on the planet and how they are going to take us into the stars.

He also explains how they have the experience and knowledge to do so and are ready to craft the most beautiful world we have yet to see. During the video they showed us a bunch of artworks that we will be going over later on in the article so be sure to stick around!

61. Starfield - The Settled System

This short video gives us a first look into the setting of the game and what our main mission will be. It’s quite vague but the main gist of it is that we will be discovering the galaxy and making our own journey through the stars. We also get the knowledge that the game will be set in the year 2330 in a place called the “Settled System” which is 50 light years away from our “Solar System”.

60. Into The Starfield - Ep1: The Endless Pursuit

The video opens up with Todd Howard and 2 other developers talking about how video games are something more than a waste of time and how they can bring a sense of pride and accomplishment that other ways of entertainment can’t.

They also talk about their previous games and how they took the player on their own journey and how that will be the main focus of Starfield as well. It doesn’t show a lot of gameplay but what we do get is a ton of artwork which just makes our imaginations go wild about the game.

59. Starfield: Painting A Journey Through Space

This video isn’t anything special as it only shows us a very talented painter working on the main picture of Starfield that everyone knows and loves. While the painter is doing his job there is also a speech about space and how humanity has a lot of new knowledge to gain from space exploration.

58. Into The Starfield - Ep2: Made For Wanderers

Another video where Todd Howard and 3 other developers are talking about the game and how player choice is the most important part because Bethesda Softworks was built on that. They also discuss how factions are going to be playing a bigger role in the game and how each faction is unique in its own way. Also a major thing that I’m excited about is that they explain how you’ll be able to join the pirate faction and play as a bad guy if you wish.

57. Starfield: Meet Vasco

In this video we get to meet probably one of the first ever companions we’ll get to know in the game. He’s a robot that was built specifically to be a right hand man to the player to provide us with his assistance and probably to not feel lonely in the deep vastness of space. The video also goes through a few iterations of the robot and how his design changed over the years of development.

56. Into The Starfield - Ep3: The Sound Of Adventure

During our time playing Starfield we’ll probably be asking ourselves what the hell was that sound? Especially if we start hearing sounds while flying through the vast empty darkness of space.

In the video two sound designers go over how sound and music are important for a game and how it instills an emotion into the player. They explain why good sound design is important especially when it comes to the main theme when booting up the game and how ambient sounds are important when exploring a planet as it brings the game to life.

55. Starfield: Official Gameplay Reveal

Shortly after Starfield was delayed way back into 2023 Bethesda has been kind enough to bless us with a gameplay trailer that lasts 15 minutes and the only thing I can say about this is “I need moreeee, pleaseeeee.” During these 15 minutes we get a first look at the combat, graphics, art direction, gameplay and weapon animations, new gameplay features, ship customization, spaceship battles, facial animations, different skill trees, and base building.

But the thing that got me the most excited about this game is the character creation as they are going back to the old ways of Morrowind where you’ll be able to pick a background for your character, different skills, traits, and all of these will have an impact on your gameplay and the way that you interact with the world. But the thing that caught everyone’s attention was when Todd Howard said that there will be 1000 planets to explore and discover.

54. Constellation Questions: Talking With Todd Howard

One of the more recent videos that we got from Bethesda Games about Starfield was the constellation questions. So far there have only been two released but there have been leaks where more are on the way and I really hope that’s true. During the video Todd Howard is being interviewed about Starfield and what we can expect from the game.

Sadly there wasn’t a lot of gameplay included but what we did get is a new design for dialogue choices which looks really interesting and it’s way more in depth than in their previous game Fallout 4. Along with that they also showed us that Starfield will have over 250,000 dialogue lines in total. Which just proves how enormous and ambitious the game really is. By the end of the video we also get a look at one of the coolest armors for a space pirate I have ever seen in a video game and just looking at it makes me want to roleplay as one.

53. Constellation Questions: Talking With Will Shen

And for the final video we have on this list we take a deep dive into the quests and how dynamic encounters are going to work in the game. The lead quest designer explains that at any point on a random planet there could be a random encounter taking place that you might want to take a look at and we all know that Bethesda Game’s random encounters are simply damn badass.

Shortly after he explains how factions are going to work in the game and how companions will have a bigger role in the story. Of course, he also says how there will be consequences to your actions so that if you do something horrible and your companion is a good person they won’t approve of it and your relationship with that companion is going to take a bit of a dive. Which gives the sense of your companions and NPC’s being more alive.

52. Frost Planet

“Hey, do you think anyone is alive here?”

We are now moving onto the territory of artworks for the game and oh boy there are a lot of amazing pictures to show you. We’ll begin with the artwork for a frost planet somewhere far in the galaxy and the thing I love the most about this picture is the starry sky behind it. I just can’t wait to visit this planet in the game and probably freeze myself to death because I’ll forget a warm suit.

51. Starfield

“This is it boys.”

This is the official artwork of the game that’s used in any promotions and this is the picture that the guy was painting in the video “Starfield: Painting A Journey Through Space”. The picture is also really high quality and can be used as a wallpaper if you want it to.

50. Logo

“Whao how innovative is Bethesda?”

Here we have an artwork piece that’s just titled the logo and doesn’t show anything else except two planets in the background with some space dust and a ton of stars. This was also one of the first ever official artworks released for the game.

49. Ship Launch

“And away we go!”

Here we get to see the nose of the ship as it’s taking off an unknown planet. The artwork doesn’t show a lot except a few scratches on the nose of the ship which can indicate that it went through a battle. Which could be a really neat addition and would add another level of immersion if we can see the damage on our ship after a battle.

48. Grav Launch

“Fast And Furious 100: The Space Race.”

In this artwork piece we get to see a ship that’s jumping through a wormhole or that has activated its turbo thrusters to go through space faster. Nonetheless it confirms that space travel won’t take a lot of time to go between destinations. Or it could be showing off how the “Fast Travel” function is going to work.

47. Cockpit

“Look at the details!”

In this artwork we get to see the inside of a ship’s cockpit and the amount of details it shows is insane. I really hope the game PC requirements won’t be off the roof because if they are my poor PC is going to be melting while running this game.

46. Destruction

“Boogie down.”

Here we get a sneak peek at a battle in space and the level of detail and destruction is off the charts. We also are able to see a light in the distance which could be coming from another ship or maybe a distant star. Additionally there is a huge planet that’s also covered in a huge shadow.

45. Temple

“Can I touch this?”

This artwork shows us an unknown object which could very well tie into the main questline of the game or maybe it’s something similar to the “Eye Of Magnus” from Skyrim. Whatever the case with this one it looks really mysterious and I can’t wait to uncover its secrets and then sell it off on the black market if possible.

44. Mountains

“Did I land into Elder Scrolls 6?”

This artwork piece looks extraordinary and the best part about it is that it was taken in-game. In the distance we can see some kind of creature that resembles a dinosaur and a ton of mountains. There is also a dense fog between the mountains which could be telling us “Hey there’s something here hidden behind this fog, please explore me!”. But even if there isn’t anything it’s going to be amazing walking onthis planet as it looks so beautiful.

43. Sound Of Adventure 8

“This is a weird cactus.”

Another artwork that shows us a planet with weird geography and a ton of red sand covered by some weird lookin ahh cactuses. We can also see another planet really close in the background so maybe the gravitational pull of that planet is the cause of the weird geographical stuff happening on this planet. Man, just looking at these pictures makes me so sad that the game got delayed because I really wish it didn’t.

42. Sound Of Adventure 7

“Does anyone know where the hell we are going?”

I thought that this artwork doesn’t show anything spectacular as it’s only a spaceship with some space dust behind it until I realized that’s actually not space dust but huge rings of a planet. Man, I can tell you right now that I’ll be spending countless hours just flying around in my spaceship and taking so many screenshots because I know this game is going to be beautiful.

41. Sound Of Adventure 6

“Time to take off boys.”

Here we can see a ship taking off from a space colony or from a space city but nonetheless it looks amazing. I really hope that we’ll have the freedom to control the ship while landing and taking off and that it won’t be an automatic process like in other space exploration games.

40. Sound Of Adventure 5

“Why is my oxygen tank floating in space?”

Now you might not see a lot in this picture but what I see is a chance to immerse myself into the game fully. Just imagine setting a destination to a faraway planet and giving the steering wheel to your companion while you go into your cabin to sit on a nearby window sill and listen to chill in-game music. That’s going to be such a vibe holy cow.

39. Sound Of Adventure 4

“Eyo what’s that weird thing in the water?”

From the pictures this seems to be some kind of a water planet with tons of waterfalls and ponds. It gives off a creepy vibe which is a good thing and I hope Bethesda gives us an uneasy feeling while exploring planets like these. It will change up the game and show us that space isn’t all about butterflies and roses.

38. Sound Of Adventure 3

“I hope someone’s home.”

Now I’m not quite sure if this is a random space colony, a mining operation, a space pirate’s base or if it's a concept of what the base building aspect will be able to provide to the player. Nonetheless it looks amazing especially with the sun setting down on the mystery planet.

37. Sound Of Adventure 2

“Where does this door go…I’ve been wandering for hours!”

Since the game will give the player a full creative range of building their own ship I wonder if we’ll be able to customize the interiors as well. I really hope that’s the case because imagine the endless possibilities of customizations. Especially if we can customize it to our liking and put on some nice details to make it feel like our home and just give us that tiny bit of roleplay and immerse ourselves into the game more.

36. Sound Of Adventure 1

“Did Yoda piss in this water? Is that why it’s green?”

Another artwork piece that shows off a creepy planet with huge trees and some green water that is totally poisonous and you already know that on this planet you’ll find some dude smoking a space blunt under a tree. Also I wonder what kind of creatures we’ll be able to discover on planets like these ones. It really makes you wonder how ambitious this game actually is.

35. Made For Wanderers 11

“Cuz I’m a wanderer.”

If you’ve already seen videos on Starfield you’d know that the building in this artwork belongs to the faction called “Freestar Collective” who were once in a fierce war and now they are all about keeping the peace and caring about its people. The city in the artwork seems to be walled off from the outside which could suggest dangerous threats beyond the walls.

34. Made For Wanderers 10

“Warming up the engines.”

Here in this artwork we can see another iteration of a spaceship that could potentially belong to someone else or to us the player. It seems to be on some kind of an alien planet as we can see the huge weird looking elf trees in the background and people wearing weird flat hats.

33. Made For Wanderers 9

“We can’t breathe help…”

I am pretty sure there will be gas planets in the game and maybe this could be one of them? As we can see in the artwork there are tons of gasses in the background along with people wearing red suits. Those could be hazmat suits to protect the player from dangerous outside chemicals perhaps.

32. Made For Wanderers 8

“It’s time to go to war.”

This artwork gives me the vibes of a faction in the game called “The Crimson Fleet”. As their main faction color is red and the ships we see here have a red accent along with a red planet behind them. But that’s only my speculation about it and don’t take it for granted it could very well be something else.

31. Made For Wanderers 7

“Why am I here?”

This seems like a scene from the movie “Interstellar” and it looks so amazing. Even though the planet seems desolate I bet there are some nifty caves with dangerous creatures hiding beneath the surface. This artwork gives me such anxiety but for some reason I still want to explore this planet and discover its secrets.

30. Made For Wanderers 6

“Is there an end to this hole?”

This hole right here looks like a “Sarlacc pit” from Star Wars and I have no reason why the ship is going to land there. But it does give me some ideas that maybe we could take our own ship and land it into some huge holes in the ground. So that way we don’t have to walk across the whole planet to get to a dungeon.

29. Made For Wanderers 5

“Man what the hell is this now.”

Now this artwork just tells me that these two astronauts took a wormhole and went into the Warhammer 40K universe. I mean look at those walls with spikes and everything. That does not look safe at all and gives me serious vibes about the wall even being alive. Perhaps we might even find some 40K Spacemarine armor to deal with it.

28. Made For Wanderers 4

“I don’t even know what I’m doing lmao.”

Another artwork piece that shows off red accents and gives off a vibe that it belongs to the “Crimson Fleet” faction. Plus the room seems like it’s a part of a huge spaceship and maybe the guy is trying to fix something after a rough battle? Also, that huge thing that’s hanging on a chain could also be an engine part for a ship.

27. Made For Wanderers 3

“Ay we look like turtles with our hats man.”

This is definitely a city that belongs to a different faction but I’m not quite sure which one, well we’ll find out when the game comes out. Also, I am pretty sure this is the same planet as the one in “Made For Wanderers 2” as it gives off the same vibe and we also see people wearing those weird flat hats. It’s not just me, right?

26. Made For Wanderers 2

“Eyo, why do we live on a water planet?”

Okay, this I know belongs to the faction called “Xenofresh Corporation” as they are the only people who would live on a full water planet. Also, a fun fact about them is that they started out as a fishing company but discovered that the fish on this planet induces a drug effect when eaten. So they just formed a whole city there and now deal in drugs. I honestly can't wait to smuggle drugs for them.

25. Made For Wanderers 1

“Seriously inflation in space?!?!”

This artwork gives the vibes of the movie “Dune 2021” if you’ve seen it that is. It can’t just be me right? Like look at the houses they are made out of sandstone and people are selling their products. But it could also be a market on a sand planet or something like that. Can’t wait to rob them :D.

24. Cave

“You couldn’t come up with a better name for the artwork really?”

But if we ignore the amount of time it took them to name this artwork piece we can see a cave that looks magnificent. Especially that bright light that’s coming from an ore or maybe a flashlight is being reflected off the surface of the cave. Also, look at those huge crystals that are definitely used in crafting items or space drugs for sure.

23. Music Suite 4

“I hope I can land safely here.”

Another artwork piece that shows off a different version of the spaceship that we’ll probably be able to control. Also, look how the clouds and dust are blocking out the sun on this planet which could signify that maybe some kind of nocturnal people or creatures live here who can’t stand the sunlight.

22. Music Suite 3

“Good morning United Colonies!”

This huge and vast city belongs to the main faction of the game called the “United Colonies” where we will most likely begin our journey. Of course, that is if you pick the life path that spawns you here as the game will offer us different life paths to choose from. Which is quite exciting and I wonder how they will execute this. I just hope it doesn’t turn out like Cyberpunk 2077 life's paths.

21. Music Suite 2

“Are you ready to party!”

Now that’s what I’m talking about a damn huge cyberpunk themed city. I can already tell you if I’m able to start my journey here in this city you better be sure that I will. I mean just look at it, it looks freakin amazing! Oh and you can find “Ryujin Industries” here in this city which is another main faction of the game.

20. Music Suite 1

“Ey, is that Wall-E?”

I have a feeling that nobody lives on this planet and they are just using it to dumb trash through a portal or something. The only thing that you’ll probably be able to find on this planet is some kind of disease that will grow a third arm out of your forehead. But it looks weirdly aesthetically pleasing I must say.

19. Settled Systems 4

“Why are these rocks blue?”

I mean seriously who has the time to paint every single rock on this planet with a blue stripe that’s some serious dedication. But it could also mean that there are different colonies on the planet who were at war at one point and when it ended everyone marked their territories. Which could be a very interesting side quest to partake in if that’s the case.

18. Settled Systems 3

“Damn these look cool as hell.”

This artwork shows off some of the cool looking armor that we can expect to find in the game. I never doubted Bethesda Games when it comes to armors. Especially how it looks because they are known to make some of the coolest sci-fi or fantasy armors in the gaming industry and it shows from the artwork that will be the case with Starfield as well.

17. Settled Systems 2

“What the hell is this meat?”

This kind of seems like the lower part of the cyberpunk city we saw in “Music Suite 2” or better known as the place where plebians live. It looks highly populated along with the multiple markets and stalls that are open. If we are to go by older Bethesda’s games we know that we can interact with every single stall in those and I don’t think this is going to be an exception with Starfield.

16. Settled Systems 1

“Damn this look beautiful.”

Another wonderful artwork that shows off the city of the “United Colonies”. I don’t think it belongs to anyone else except that faction but then again I might be wrong. The city itself just looks wonderful and I can’t wait to explore it while flying cars go over my head.

15. Scaled

“Everyone is partying while I’m stuck on guard duty…”

This artwork shows off another city that we might encounter on our adventures and it might be on a planet where only rich folks can come and party. Now just imagine that you have to steal something and sneak your way into the party and get out undetected. That just gets my blood pumping!

14. Alien Cave

“The smell is gross… What the hell is living down here?”

The cave system that we see here is probably a side quest that we will be able to do with our companion. Maybe we’ll have to get into this cave that got infested with alien spiders and clear it out or maybe we’ll have to venture into the cave and get an artifact inside of a tomb that’s  protected by a long forgotten creature. God damn that just sounds badass.

13. Soar the skies

“Hey is that planet getting closer to us?”

In this artwork we can see a city built into the side of a whole damn mountain that’s sprawling with life. Not only that but in the distance we can see a ship coming to the city. Not going to lie, I just want to jump off a building down this huge mountain and see what I can find and if I get stuck there is always the fast travel option to save me.

12. Armor 1

“Why my mask built like a bird’s face?”

In a previous artwork we saw this piece of armor but only from the front now we can even see the backside of it. It looks quite cool and maybe it belongs to a bounty hunter? Because that’s the vibe it’s giving me or maybe that it belongs to the “Freestar Collective” faction.

11. Armor 2

“Mom said it’s my turn on the Xbox!”

This piece of armor looks like it belongs to either the “Xenofresh Corporation” because it kind of looks like a diving suit if you think about it. And that faction was formed on a water planet after they discovered a fish that gets you high after you eat it. So it could be some kind of armor that’s used to hunt those fish.

10. Armor 1

“Where did all my other pieces go?”

This is just the naked version of the previous armor but without the diving gear or maybe this is the light variant and the other one was the heavy variant? Which could potentially be the case as there are similar cases to those two in Skyrim and Fallout 4. As you know in those games there are both heavy and light armor variants of the same armor types. But we’ll know for sure when the game comes out!

9. Cybercop

“I can see crime from a mile away.”

This futuristic helmet gives off such vibes of an enforcer type NPC. Which could potentially be found in the cyberpunk city or maybe it could be a potential space cop that patrols the galaxy in the search of space pirates. Whatever it is I can’t wait to pickpocket that helmet off of his face without him realizing it.

8. Hangar

“Can you not take my ship apart?”

Up next we have something that seems to be like a hanger and a ship being constructed. So maybe this is somewhat an area where we’ll be able to take our own ship to customize it or upgrade it however we want. If that’s the case I have to say that’s pretty damn immersive and much better than just going into your menu and upgrading the ship that way.

7. Freestar Collective

“There is danger beyond the walls.”

We already have seen an outside look of the city in the artwork “Made For Wanderers 11” where the “Frestar Collective” faction is situated. This is more of what the city looks like inside and what you can expect it to look like once the game is released. Besides that we can see a lot of people just doing their job and moving on with their life.

6. Xenofresh Corporation

“Damn these fish taste good.”

This is an outside look of the city where the “Xenofresh Corporation” can be found. We have also seen what the bottom part of the city looks like in the artwork “Made For Wanderers 2” and god damn the city looks big as heck when viewed from a distance. We can also see a few fishing ships in the water which is their main source of income.

5. Jungle

“Is this Valenwood?”

This is an artwork piece that gets me really excited about Starfield as I really love jungles in video games. I just hope that my PC won’t catch on fire once I step into this jungle. But if it does there are always mods to fix the FPS issues so that’s alright. But seriously this jungle looks really dense in the artwork and we can see that the grass is half as tall as the player model.

4. Planets

“Damn he big.”

In this artwork we can see two planets relatively close to each other so maybe if we land on one we’ll be able to see the other one in the distance from the planet’s surface. Which sounds so damn dope if you ask me. We still don’t know the exact names of the planets which sucks but oh well we’ll find out when Starfield finally hits the stores.

3. Creatures

“Please tell me I leveled up sneak.”

What the hell are those things and why are they coming toward me? In the artwork we see some kind of alien creatures that are coming toward the player and they seem to be really damn huge. Maybe they are a mini boss or just random alien creatures that can be found on the planet.

2. Sunset

“I exterminated this planet of life.”

This artwork piece reminds me of that sunset scene from “Star Wars: A New Hope”. Like I can’t be the only one right? It also looks really pretty and I hope that Bethesda will include some kind of a camping system because camping here would be such a good time.

1. First Steps

“Welcome wanderer.”

And for the last official artwork piece that was released for the game we have one that’s simply titled “First Steps”. Funny enough this is also my PC’s wallpaper because it looks that damn good.  Here we can see another different variant of the spaceship with a huge planet in the background. Along with the weird rocks with blue stripes again. Maybe those rocks will be part of a side quest or something, who knows?
