There are multiple ways to destroy other ships in Starfield. You can ram them, and shoot them with energy weapons, and lasers, but nothing comes close to that as blowing them up with a missile launcher. Missile launchers are a weapon type that you can attach to your ship. 

Furthermore, they are used to destroy the enemy hull, shields, grav drives, and engines or simply blow them up to pieces. Also, they have a slow rate of fire. There are different brands of missile launchers and today I'll be ranking the best 5 in the game.

5. ATLATL 280A Missile Launcher

Badass name for a number 5 launcher.

This missile launcher is the best in this class. It's reliable and cheap, clocking out at 10,000 credits. It's good in the early game and deals 82 hull and shield damage. It has a relatively short rate of fire of 1 but the damage makes up for it. 

The great thing about this missile launcher is that it deals the same damage to the hull and shield which isn't the case with most weapons. If you pair this baby up with a strong energy or physical damage weapon you will have yourself a strong ship in the early game.

What ATLATL 280A excels in:

• The weapon deals the same damage to the hull and shield.
• Deals 82 damage.
• You can get early in the game.
• Its cheap for a missile launcher.

4. CE-19

The name could have been more creative.

A class A missile launcher that's affordable can serve you in the mid and late-game. Additionally, it has a targeting system, in short, that means it will hit the enemy whenever you shoot. It can target the engine, shields, hull, and so on. 

Furthermore, you don't have to get any special perk for this missile launcher you only have to reach rank 3. Also, the hull and shield damage it deals is 77 and has a rate of fire of 1. Now that isn't much when compared to the ATLATL 280B but this one has a targeting system so that makes it better. Oh, and the value is 7,940 credits.

What CE-19 excels in:

• The missile launcher has a targeting system.
• It only costs 7,940 credits.
• The weapon doesn't require any special perks to get, only that you achieve rank 3.

3. ATLATL 280B

Rekt.

Once you're able to pilot B-class ships you have to get yourself this missile launcher. It's the best one in its class honestly and it's much better than its counterpart 280A. Additionally, this one has a rate of fire of 3. 

Furthermore, the hull and shield damage it deals is 141. Once you get this bad boy most ships will have a hull health pool of 500 to 800 and in just a few shots you can take them down. The price is a bit steep as it costs 21, 000 credits.

What ATLATL 280B excels in:

• This missile launcher has a rate of fire of 3.
• Deals 141 damage.
• Easily takes down early and mid-game enemies.

How to get ATLATL 280B:

Buy it from a ship technician in New Atlantis.

2. Tsukisasu 19K

This missile launcher is for the class A ship but it only unlocks for you once you reach rank 41. The thing is though that it has a range of 42,500 which is absurd, you can snipe people from really far away with this thing before they even see you coming. 

The value of it as well is only 10,100 which is free as when you unlock it you will be in the late game. Additionally, it deals 78 damage to the hull and shield, and the rate of fire is 1. 

What Tsukisasu 19K excels in:

• Sniping people from afar as the range of the weapon is 42,500.
• Being cost-effective.
• It deals 78 damage to the shields and the hull.

How to get Tsukisasu 19K:

Buy it from ship services in Red Mile.

1. ATLATL 280C

POW!

No weapon even comes close to this baby as it deals the most damage to both hull and shield simultaneously. The amount of damage it deals is 264. Additionally, it has a rate of fire 1, and the cost of this is 47,500 credits. 

Surely it will make a dent in your wallet. This is a must-have missile launcher in the late game and when combined with other weapons your ship alone will be an unstoppable force not to be messed with.
