Today, we’ll be looking at the best bowling balls in Yakuza Kiwami.
Remember how in Yakuza 0 you get a literal chicken as a manager in the Real Estate Royale Minigame when you land straight three strikes, you’d get a “Turkey”? Well, Kiwami has sort of the same shenanigans present here thanks to the Majima Everywhere system.
Beating him may be a cakewalk for some but a nuisance to most. Not only that, but there is also a substory that you have to complete related to bowling which doesn’t involve Majima for once. Thankfully, if you use the right balls or moves for this, you can clear that section in no time!
Let’s get started with the list, then!
5. Heavy Tank
First up on the list, we have the Heavy Tank bowling ball which is a 14-pound bowling ball black in color.
Since this is a heavy-pounder, it great for landing heavy strikes against the bowling pins and makes good for a simple and straight strike. The only downside to using this is that the direction-setting speed for this ball is way too fast and it can land you in a gutter ball as well.
What’s Good about Heavy Tank:
- Large weight makes for the inability to slip and reduces excessive speed.
- Greater power makes for increased chances of landing a strike.
- Reduced drifting makes it able to hit bowling pins easily.

4. Lush Leaf
Next up, we have the Lush Leaf bowling bowl which provides a moderate balance of both speed and power, although leaning more towards the heavier power side, and is green in color. (Duh, since the name “Leaf” is an indicator.)
You can use this ball for landing some pretty sweet strikes BUT you can also use them in eliminating those remaining pins to land a Spare. That way, you can score some higher points in the game and can increase your chances of winning. Oh, and it has reduced direction-setting speed.
What’s Good about Lush Leaf:
- Moderate weight provides for a balance of speed and weight. Ideal for landing Spares.
- Greater power makes for increased chances of landing a strike.
- Greater speed makes for quick impact and sends pins flying to the next one.

3. Ten Stars
In #3, we have the Ten Stars bowling ball which is a ten-pounder and provides the perfect balance of speed and weight with the ability to land both Strikes and Spares!
It’s not the most used or sought-after option but once chosen, it can be well utilized per your standards!
What’s Good about Ten Stars:
- Moderate weight provides for a balance of speed and weight. Ideal for landing Spares.
- Greater power makes for increased chances of landing a strike.
- Greater speed makes for quick impact and sends pins flying to the next one.

2. Ocean Sky
On #2, we have the Ocean Sky bowling ball which has a really beautiful name and leans towards the lighter side of the bowling ball spectrum meaning that it can fly away into the sky with it’s lighter breeze speed or stay in the ocean with its considerable weight.
If you’re looking for one-shot strikes, this ball is the way to go. Don’t let the name fool you, though. It has a 60:40 division of speed and weight respectively.
What’s Good about Ocean Sky:
- Moderate weight provides for a balance of speed and weight. Ideal for landing Spares.
- Moderate power makes for increased chances of not having a gutter ball.
- Greater speed makes for quick impact and sends pins flying to the next one.
Ocean Sky stats: N/A

1. Bright Flame
And last but not the least, we have the 6-pounder Bright Flame which is the speediest and fastest of all bowling balls.
Perfect for landing straight strikes and a “Turkey” with reduced direction setting speed, it gives you an ample amount of time and a window to perfectly line your shot to whack those bowling pins into oblivion! And it stays true to its name since it goes off like a flame once released in full power!
What’s Good about Bright Flame:
- Reduced direction setting speed provides the perfect window to line up the bowling bowl for a perfect “Strike”.
- Greater speed makes for quick impact and sends pins flying to the next one.
- Accurate positioning combined with high power can make this a game-changing bowling bowl.
Bright Flame stats: N/A

And that’s about it with the bowling balls! Now that you know what choices you have in bowling, go beat Majima to a pulp. In bowling, not in combat.
