Because this is a game made by Bethesda you already know that the outfits will be looking damn good. Skyrim still has one of the most incredible fantasy armors in any game to date. You just can’t go wrong with a Daedric set. But we’re talking about Starfield here. 

There are a lot of clothes that you can choose and pick from. Some you get as quest rewards, others you have to go out into the open space to get them, while others you have to buy from a vendor. In this article today I’ll be listing the best 10 apparels in the game.

10. Inclement Weather Outfit

Stole it from a Mexican!

To start it off we have a cool poncho that can go with anything tbh. It also comes in two different color variants which is pretty cool. 

Additionally, this will give you protection against all damage types except airborne. It’s good for the early game if you have the credits to buy it.

9. First Officer Outfit

Looks like something that a hobo would wear!

Here’s badass apparel that you can get once you start the faction mission for the Freestar Collective. It drops from the Ruffian leader at the Waggoner farm, keep in mind that it’s a rare drop so be sure to quickly save it before you fight him. 

So in that way, you can load it back up if you don’t get it. This apparel is also good for intimidating people as it gives you a 5% bonus to intimidation chance. Furthermore, it also gives you protection from physical and energy damage. 

First Officer Outfit stats:

How to get First Officer Outfit:

-You can get it when you start the faction mission “Deputized” from the Freestar Collective. Once you’re going up against someone called the “Ruffian Leader” he can drop it. It is a rare drop.

8. Security Guard Uniform

Unique!

These security guards are well-maintained. Not only do they carry some of the best weapons in the game but their outfits and armor are also really good. Going up against a few guards in a city won’t do well for you and you better surrender while you still have the chance. 

As for the apparel it gives you some decent protection against radiation and physical and energy damage. Also, it’s not that hard to obtain and you only have to get lucky.

-You can get it by looting the guards' lockers in Neon City or Suvorov on Kryx.

7. Formal Slack Suit

An average waiter.

If you’re roleplaying as more of a business-type character then you’ll need this apparel. Not only does it look cool but it also gives you some decent protection. What it does give is protection against energy and electromagnetic damage. 

Additionally, somehow it gives you protection against thermal and airborne damage. I have no idea how but it does. The apparel is easy to get if you have the credits for it.

How to get Formal Slack Suit:

-You can purchase it from at the EIT in New Atlantis or if you’re lucky enough find one in the wild.

6. UC Navy Officer Uniform

I’m more captivated by that guy’s head..

Let’s be real, all guards in the game including the pirates have some amazing armor that gives you excellent protection against damage. This one especially gives you good protection against energy, physical, and corrosive damage. 

Additionally, it also gives protection against radiation and electromagnetic damage but the protection isn’t that high. The apparel is easy to obtain as you can easily get it from dead enemies once you start the Crimson Fleet questline.

UC Navy Officer Uniform stats:

5. Genghis Khan’s Outfit

Mongolia’s finest!

If you’re going to conquer the galaxy for yourself you might as well wear the outfit that the greatest conqueror on Earth wore. While wearing this apparel you won’t look like any ordinary chump and you’ll be actually unique as nobody else will be wearing this type of apparel. 

You can get it from the quest “Operation Starseed” and funny enough you’ll have to do a bit of slaughtering to get it. Additionally, the apparel has decent protection against physical, electromagnetic, and airborne damage. Furthermore, it gives you a 5% intimidation chance.

-You can get it from the quest “Operation Starseed.”

4. Space Trucker Cargowear

Truckers in space?

If you’re roleplaying as a space trucker and delivering goods from one planet to another why not dress for the occasion? This apparel looks quite cool and it gives you decent protection against electromagnetic and corrosive damage. 

Furthermore, you can loot it off a dead body during a quest called “The Empty Nest”. But if you do not get this item dropped from the enemies make sure that you reload the save and try it again.

• EM 20
• Thermal 10
• Airborne 0
• Corrosive 15
• Radiation 0

How to get Space Trucker Cargowear:

-You can get it from dead bodies during the quest “The Empty Nest.”

3. Hazmat Suit

Plenty of hazards in Starfield!

This one might not be as cool as some other outfits on this list but oh boy does it give you some great protection against thermal, radiation, airborne and corrosive damage. It’s perfect for exploring planets with hazardous gasses on them or if you want to cosplay as someone who’s making meth and distributing it around the galaxy. 

The only way that you can get this apparel is through luck because you have to loot it off from a chest or a random dead scientist. Furthermore, this can be worn under your space suit which gives you additional protection.

How to get Hazmat Suit:

-The only way to get it is through random chests around the galaxy or off random dead scientists. 

2. Neocity Corpwear

Classy wagie-cagie.

You want to be the baddest human around? Do you want to be the mobster that everyone’s afraid of? Well, if that’s something you want to be then you have to dress that part. This apparel is perfect for those people who are doing an evil playthrough of the game.

Additionally, it gives you a 5% bonus to persuasion and decent protection against physical damage. Furthermore, it’s easy to obtain as you can purchase it from vendors or from dead mobsters.

Neocity Corpwear stats:

• EM 10
• Thermal 10
• Airborne 15
• Corrosive 0

How to get Neocity Corpwear:

-Buy it from a vendor at Newill’s Goods in Neon or loot it off a dead gangster.

1. Monster Costume

Weird drip but ok.

This apparel might look funny and weird to wear but the protection it gives you simply can’t be ignored. Also, it’s not hard to obtain as you get it from starting a quest and talking to someone called “Dr. Giuliana” at the Clinic on Saturn’s moon Titan. 

Sadly it doesn’t give any protection against radiation, airborne, corrosive, and thermal damage but it’s still pretty damn good due to the amount of protection you get from physical, energy, and electromagnetic damage.

How to get Monster Costume:

-To obtain it simply go to Saturn’s moon Titan and head over to the clinic and talk to a “Dr. Giuliana” to start the quest “Tourists Go Home.”
